OK, i just found out that my friend's 10 year old brother went to the flea market with some of his pals and bought a ninja sword, yes a really sharp ninja sword, (which reminds me of an episode of south park if u know what im talking about) Now is this legal? If he hurts anybody or himself who's fault is it on cuz im pretty sure his parents dont know, so ya......what do u think about this about it being legal and everything? Cuz im worried about someone getting hurt and then a whole bunch of stuff happening, who's to blame? and Was it legal for whoever gave this kid a ninja sword to sell it to him????

This guard at my job lied on me because I would continue conversating with him. I stop talking to him just because it wasn't nonthing. He lied 2 weeks later and said that I said something immpropriate to him. My boss that dont care for me any way took his side and suspended me. She didnt ask for my statement, They didnt even want to tell what I was being suspended for. They took his side and ran with it. They havent called or nonthing its been 7 days and I havent called them. I still have time card in the slot I was told by a co worker. My job is very sneaky and dont do things by the book. Can you tell me what you think they are waiting on? Can I call this harassment on the bases of gender and can they fire me and If so what are they waiting on. My friend told me to go to union and go file with local office that handle these cases.

THEY have been making the payments but i want my name removed it was just to help them establish good credit, I have a signed document of them agreeing to refinance and remove my name . What can i leagly do ? to get them to look harder into finding a credit union or bank that will give them a loan and get my name off of it.

For example, schools have to offer all class options to all genders and races. I know that this originates from some big civil trial in the 60's, but I don't know what the other stipulations are.

Lets say a freshman student signs up for a class or tries out for a sports team, but the spot goes instead to a senior merely because of his seniority, not because of first-come-first-serve or merit or ability. Can schools legally do this, or is it fundamentally unconstitutional?

My wife got injured while on the job. It was 4-5 yrs ago. It is a workmens comp case. She received multiply injections into her spine to correct a spinal injury she received. At that time the insurance co. gave us 40,000$ as a settlement. That was 3 yrs ago. Now she just had major back surgury to try to correct the problem. She is still healing. We paid NOTHING out of pocket. But we were told she would never be 100% of normal. Now we have been told by people that we should seek another settlement. Now I dont believe we do because we signed a statement that we would not seek anymore $. I have no idea what chance (if any) we have. But she is never going to be 100% of normal. Doesnt that account for more? I dont know. What do you think?

ok my teacher gives out printed notes 2 half the class and makes the other half sit there the whole class period and write them. She says the student who get them printed, need speial help, but 1 time we had 2 do a 5 point essay, we had 2 take note on how 2 do the essay, and the WHOLE CLASS had to take the notes!! on how 2 do the essay, even the kids who get printed out notes had to copy the notes for this!! so how do they need special help 'somtimes' but not 'all the time' But i borrowed the notes from my friend who gets them printed out i went home scanned them and copied them the teacher got mad at me for haveing them and i'm really mad because we have a test tomorrow over the notes and she wouldnt give me my notes back! but shes expecting me to pass! but what i need to ask is she said i had an attitude problem that was built up by a parent is it illegal for her to say something bad bout me or my mom cause i thought that it was illegal for a teacher to insult a student or teacher with words or physically::::she insulted me by insulting my mom with words!

I seek your advice and expertise in regards to a subject matter that I know very little about; protecting an idea. I have conceptually revolutionized an aspect of marketing for a particular televised sporting event. It is with high hopes that I can transform this vision into a reality. I cannot further allude to what I have thought of and, for this reason, would like to protect my idea. (In a sense own the rights to it.) Perhaps a copyright or a patent is in order? While I could not tell you the difference between the two, I am certain there does exist a strong dividing line. Which would be most appropriate in this instance and how should I proceed to protect this notion of mine?

Furthermore, once I have rightfully obtained ownership of this concept/ marketing strategy, how might I go about selling it? Obviously it would be necessary to establish contact and ultimately a relationship with the firm, but what approach should one take?

The insurance co. says it will make me a one time offer to settle. However, an attorney friend says I don't need to "settle" and that I am entitled to the full week's worth of pay. What advice do you have for me?

My father had been sick with Alzheimer's and passed away earlier this year. He had purchased several savings bonds, every month for about 10 years, and made me the "second payee" on them, in the event of his death. I know he kept a very detailed log of the bonds (and they were paper, not electronic) he received...but I couldn't find it anywhere when we cleaned his house out. At that time, he was dealing with a woman who was clearly taking advantage of him.....end in the end, she took him for $20K before we even knew what happened. I'm interested in finding the bonds, if there still are any. I had POA from the time dad got sick until he passed. I was the beneficiary on a lot of his insurance accounts, and I have TONS of documentation.

Where do I go and who do I talk to find out if there are bonds that haven't been cashed, and what I can do to make them payable to me?

Here's the deal. Any "renovations" have to be reported to the board. It was my understanding this was anything BEHIND the walls. However, after replacing a toilet and a sink - NOT BEHIND A WALL - they are fining us $500 for violating the "house rules" and "subsequent damage."

Can I fight this? If so, what's the best way? Thanks!

I have never done anything wrong in my life, except for one speeding ticket. I borrowed money from family for a couple of years and did not use it for what I said I was using it for. Now they have found out, want their money back (which I did try to pay back on several occasions and they wouldn't take it) and now they are sueing me for it & claim they are going to try to put me in jail. They are sueing me for checks and cash gifts, as well as a loan I did sign for. What's could happen to me?

i know of a person who was cut off in an intersection by a kid who had 2 or 3 friends in his car (which is above the legal limit for kids his age in his home state) and he ran over the person he cut off. The person was riding his motorcycle & died about 3 1/2 weeks later. the kid was let off with a fine. the DA stated that there was no proof that he was distracted despite his friend yelling out the window of the car. they also stated that he was not responsible for the actions of the passengers. is this right, or is this showing other young drivers that its okay to kill somebody because you look where your friend yelled?

A buddy of mine is a custodian at my daughter's elementary school. I just found out that during the kid's lunch which is about 20 minutes for the students, but an hour and a half overall for all classes combined. He is left alone with the students with no additional adult supervision. It's become his job to supervise them, line them up and even send them to recess. He tells me that he has no certification or proper training in supervising kids and that his responsibility should only be in normal custodial duties, however because of an article in his contract between the board and union, he is to do whatever the principle ask of him, if he doesn't it is considered insubordination. He wonders if there is some law that states only certified people can be left alone with children and if so who does he (or I for that matter) contact to report this violation?
