shouldn't we then assume they are guilty when they are arrested?

I mean Michael Vick indicated it is part of his culture to have dog fights which he knows is a crime. Issah Thomas indicated it is part of the black culture for a black man to call a black woman a "female dog", but he would take offense to the same thing being said by a white male.

I tend to agree with people like Charles Barkley, Clarence Thomas, and Bill Cosby, at times.

What do you think about such black culture standards?

A week before we settled the sale she told me to get the hell out of the business and that it was my problem because I wanted out of the business. She had made a verbal agreement and also we had dicuss a price at one of our corporate meetings. We are now going to court and I want to know if I can use this corporate paper as evidence in the trial.

and it becomes a matter of race?wtf?6 people is a gang and to beat up one person i dont care if they are pink is a sick, cowardly, heinous crime!!! now we only consider criminals rights and play the race card if they are anything but white???where is the justice in that??/what about the victim ?was he attacked simply because he was white??wouldnt that make this a hate crime??or is that not fitting with the politically correct agenda which robs all white, heterosexual people of rights in their own country anymore???i find this whole turn around sickening and repulsive call it what it is--- gang activity by 6 young black men whom might have caused a death but no one cares to hear about it!!! how do you think all the gangs everywhere else got started??? by bored young people thinking they were above the law and could do whatever they wanted and get away with it??? people go back home this is a matter best settled by the people who know it best .justice is for all not just a few.

I bought something on ebay for probably half of what it's worth. I already paid for it. The seller isn't talking to me and they were before. I'm wondering are they obligated by law to give me the item or its real market value or just return my money? Of course I'm hoping for the item or market value.

I went and spoke to a lawayer about my DUI case yesterday and he asked me if i had a copy of my breathalyzer results, I said no and he told me that they should have provided me with a copy. Its a time issue on how long they took to test me and the breathalyzer supposedly keeps a record and he says i should have gotten this. It was a lawyer that told me this but i am still curious because i have never heard of this..I am new to the whole thing. Also, i called about getting a copy of my arrest report and they told me i could not have one today, I would have to wait until next week. Should i not be able to obtain my own arrest report on any day during the week, this sounded questionable to me but I am no law expert by any means.....any reasonable answers are welcome and will be helpfull......hopefully. Thanks in advance.

Snacks and water stations for protesters of the Jena 6. Al Sharpton calls for a civil rights protest of an arrest of 6 black males, some of which had previous arrests for assault. When they are prosecuted for the 6 beating 1 white high school student to the ground and then stomping his head.

I've been giving to the Red Cross for many years through an automatic payroll deduction from my retired pay check through combined federal campaign (CFC)

Never in my many years would have thought that the American Red Cross supplies Al Sharpton's protesters with support. Al Sharpton is a fake. I'm not even sure he is a minister as he claims to be. Should the Red Cross be supporting his anti white agenda with donation dollars. I don't think so... What do you think?

I'm sure that anyone who saw this beat down would be shocked, I know I would. 6 people beating down one to the ground and kicking them can actually cause death. I know the kid didn't have to get hospitalized, but think about it, you have 12 feet kicking at this kid- what if one hit him in the head so hard that he suffered a major injury? I think this should be treated as attempted murder. I don't care what color skin you have, you should know that 6 on 1 is not right. Treat those kids like the pieces of %$@! that they are.

I've heard cases where a child goes missing and sooner or later the parents are suspects for murder(example: McCanns and those parents whose baby was Sabrina).

If they did murder the child then why are they making effort to notify the world that their child is missing?

Was there a case that the parent actually killed the child but reported them missing?

Being arrested doesn't mean you did something bad, wrong, against law. They just think you did, or claim they believe you did, or saw you do it. Yes maybe you didn't, but in case you dd, we'll arrest you, put you jail, and wait for your court date or get bailed out. Maybe you didn't do anything but you are still being punished, locked up, your freedom of movement is restricted to a cell or room. You are innocent possibly but you are still locked up. You gotta wait until a judge decides whether you are truely innoscent. Cops can't make that determination before arresting. Yes, th more real evidence the better. But evidence or no evidence, you can still get arrested and put in jail. I think you are drunk and driving because you smell like beer, like you can't stench of beer and not be drunk. Maybe someone spilled it on you. Maybe you are over the legal limit though, we'll arrest you just in case. Your not directly guilty of a crime but guilty enough to be arrested, locked in jail, etc.

After watching the Jena 6 case unfold, I'm curious as to what factors are required to be present before a crime can be argued as severe as the actions of an adult. I'm looking for the legal definition of charging children as adults, and what occurences and determiners are used to decide this.

We live in Alabama. My 19 year old daughter's psychiatrist has told us that we need to seek disability now for her since her conditions have made it unbearable to work. I have no idea what to do next! Do we need to go ahead and inform her current employer that she will not return to work? How many hours a week will she be able to work while drawing disabilty? We (doctor and I) want her to do something. Where do I go to find out to file parpers? Any help here is greatly appreciated!

With Al Sharpton stating "You can't have two standards of justice..." , isn't he underminding the standards that were set up to protect the "minorities" that he is currently trying to defend? If this same crime were commited by a Caucasian, the tune would be a lot different...

Law enforcement officers that taser to punish are breaking the law. It is an example of the misuse of technology and there is the danger that it become routine to taser people at the whim of the cop.

Tasers scare the hell out of me as much as guns do. Fearing the misuse of tasers by cops makes me fear, not respect, both the police and the gov't that is supposed to protect me from harm. I feel we are turning communities into prisons with cameras and tasers. The use of tasers can kill and efforts to minimize that fact by cops who feel comfortable using the taser at the slightest provocation in a minor police encounter, like a traffic violation stop, concerns me a great deal.

What's your A to my Q? Then comment w/o insults, please.

I was summons a month ago to do jury service for the standard two weeks. My jury service starts in a few days time which my employers were fine with. But i received a letter from the courts saying the possible case im going to be on is estimated to last 12 weeks and if this causes problems i need proof to be excused from 12 week jury case. I asked my employers and they went mad and said i cannot go for 12 weeks and have written a letter as proof saying how they will lose business without me. Is this enough to be excused......as secretly i would enjoy being on the jury for 12 weeks? Help
