for instance ... if there was a 'depo-sniper' who hid out in Catholic and Mormon communities sniping women with the Depo-Provera shot, would there be a strange part of you rooting for the sniper to get as many women as he/she could?

feel free to comment on my example or share one of your own

With our impending European Constitution and seemingly widespread dissatifaction with the government and judicary, both of whom are appear to be answerable to no one, is it time Britain had a written constitution? It would set out the Head of State, the role of Parliament, the Judicary, their powers which would hopefully remove the supremacy of parliament and allow judge to strike down laws that are unconstitutional. And all the other benefits of a written constitution.

In the UK you are considered an adult from 18 years of age. How is it then that Tesco's won't sell alcohol go anyone under 21? I think Morrisons have the same policy.

Ok, this is the skinny on it. I was feeling pretty down a week ago, and I have been known to cut myself before. Usually it's just the hesitation marks, because it ends up hurting so bad, you don't do it! Anyways, I haven't done it in over 2 1/2 years and I promised my mom I wouldn't do it again. Well, I called a hotline to calm me down, which I did calm down - however, the hotline called the police. When the police showed up, I was already OUT of distress, the officer wanted to know where I hurt myself, I told him I didn't hurt myself, I saw a situation and I handled it as maturly as possible by PREVENTING the act. Well, he took me down to the hospital & the officer put me on a 72 hour hold without a psych's approval (Code 5151 violation) and not only that, my blood alcohol was at .175, which I'm protected by the LPS Act. Now, considering I wasn't in distress and there was no signs of violence, he violated my 4th amendment right, the hospital violated Code 5151 & LPS - can I sue

I am going through a divorce and one day while getting my stuff moved from my house, I noticed some illegal items that belong to my exwife, so I took pictures of them. I am trying to keep the house that we purchased together, but she is fighting me on it and wants to keep it for her self even though she does not have a job. I have good suspicion that illegal activites are being commited from this house. I admit that I have participated with her in these illegal activities in the past, but I do not do that anymore. I would like to use the pictures to show the court how irresponsible she is but I fear that will implicate me. Can I bring these pictures to my lawyer and tell him the whole story with out worrying about getting myself in trouble?
