I had a lacerated cervix when I delivered. My doctor must not have documented it or whatever, but (sorry tmi coming) i had something coming out of me that the nurse and 2 other doctors believed was just a blood clot. First the nurse pulled on it--hurt like hell. Two residents then came in , gave me pain medication first , then pulled on it, but it hurt like crazy so i asked them to stop and contact my OB-GYN immediately. She told me not to let anyone else touch me, that it was my cervix they were pulling on. Long story short--for 2 weeks, it was hanging out of me, I went thru 2 procedures to "sew it back in" and was told to wait at least 2 years before trying to get pregnant because I wouldn't be able to hold the pregnancy as it got heavier. (told this only after I told the doctor i wanted another baby a year later) I am 38 years old. I'm finally able to talk about this, and have been told I should have sued. Do/did I have a case?

Why do the huge conglomerates, such as FISHER PRICE, have SO MANY factories in foreign countries that make and sell America Products, that Americans readily purchase--such as the recent recall of thousands of toys from fisher price?
Why dont we produce our own American toys such as Elmo & Dora the Explorer--even Mickey Mouse and Superman?

If the US has an official language, then it would become law that all court proceedings would be held in English, and it would avoid the problem that this story on Yahoo described:

A man accused of sexual abuse of a seven-year old had his case thrown out because the Court could not find an interpreter who was
1) fluent in Vai
2) understood American legal-ese
3) Is willing to work around his own schedule in order to work for the court.

Combined court simply because my legal aid was withdrawn due to changes in legal sytem the night before main hearing on morning in court I was alone with 3 men who tried to bully me. J.Goldsack asked me to stand in dock opening comments were you are a bitter women. I was so astounded I told him sorry is this a family civil court I will not allow you to speak to me or any other women like that. He made an order there and then I should never see or have contact with my children again simply because I stood up for myself and which I would do again as he stood to leave he said no grounds for appeal. It had nothing to do with the children the court always said I was a good mother I have never hurt or harmed my children in anyway but this court have helped brainwash my children. I have written a book about case and made dvd every year for them. I would like to know what you think about this?

I was just wondering the laws dealing with removing a victims clothes to administer first aid, or especially AED if necessary. Especially dealing with using and AED on a female.
I am a junior at our local volunteer fire department and hear alot about that in medical calls. Some people actually threaten to sue some of our EMTs for molestation. Are there any laws to defend this (such as the Good Samaritan Law)?
Also for any other fire or EMS personnel, what is the radio code for removing a victims clothing? Maybe its just a local thing, but we learned one during disaster treeage training, I just forgot....
I know this is kind of an awkward question, but I was just curious

for depriving my children of a mother that loves and cares about them very much. For depriving my children of their lovely home, also for depriving a mother of her children knowing she could have no further children. Also for depriving a mother of her childrens Educational rights eg: school reports and parent teacher evenings a Non custodial parent is entitled to. Also for giving me no reason for any of their actions. Also for depriving my children of their right to their family. For Sshowing me no curtesy at all at times I attended court. Also for not giving me any kind of compensation for being kept in a police cell overnight for purely trying to see my own children, for being taken in a group four van to another court for a judge to say what am I to do lock up a mother for loving her children, give her back her belongings and tell her to take the bus home. Sheffield Court did nothing about the trauma this caused me and continues to ignore any hearings I ask for. what do you think

In the late 90s, the CEO of Starbucks was given an Israeli award for funding the Armed Forces. The funds were partly responsible for the deaths of Palestinian Women and Children. Starbucks, today are paying so little to the Ethiopian Coffee Farmers that farmers cannot afford medicine or educate their children. Also, the farmers cannot afford to save money in case of crop failure (drought). Should there be a drought, many farmers and their families will die from disease and hunger. Basically, if anybody buys a Starbucks coffee, they are condoning the murder of innocent women and children. Starbucks pay 70p ($1.40) per kilo for coffee and are now selling it in UK supermarkets for as much as £16 ( $32) per kilo. In their coffee shops, one kilo of coffee will generate at least £100+. Is this fair? Should Governments regulate their profit margins? and should Starbucks pay the farmers at least double for the coffee. Should the CEO face criminal charges for funding Arms (Israel)?

Members are allowed to board meetings where I am a member. This is written in our bylaws. And there never has been a problem as far as that is concerned. Now a new board member has problems using stairs. So the board has decided to close the building for the afternoon so that the meeting can be held on the first floor. In the past most board meetings were held there so that it would be easier for members to attend. Can they actually close the building and not permit members to attend? They can probably say that an in camera session would be a problem. This new board member has been to the second floor on other occasions. Can the rules be changed to make allowances for one and then block the rights of many? Please can anyone help me?

My aunt died on Feb-2007. She did not have a will in place when she died. She was a resident of Mississippi and had a 16 year old son. The father is still alive and resides in Chicago, however he is not paying child support for this child. Before she died he stopped paying child support because he had his employer start to pay him cash under the table. So that the child support wouldn't be taken out of his check. How do we (the family) go after him for child support? He is not helping support this child and has said that he does not want the 16 year old living with him and his wife (he and my aunt were never married). Please if anyone knows what we should do, this is not right.

My daughter was living with her father, my son with me. We agreed he'd take care of her, I'd take care of him, neither would get support from the other. While she was with him, began getting into trouble, went to juvenile hall, etc. Once she was there and in group homes, his county began charging me for J/H bills and child support. She came to live with me, ran away, sent back to juvenile hall in his county since still on probation there. Since I was getting all these bills for her, though our son was w/me for 3 yrs, I took him to court to get 1 yr of child support paid to me so I could pay the bills for our daughter. That was a stipulation in our own case, but in it I said I'd pay 1/2 her juvenile hall bill. But after that, she came back to me and went to J/H in my county, there was another big bill. He got a bill from my county, and I told him I'd take care of all of that bill if he pd. all the bill from his co. Now his co. is called me, said they have copy of that order (con't)
