designated as clothing optional, if we are
-- on a remote part of the beach --
-- in an area where no children are present --
-- NOT acting in ANY lewd manner whatsoever --?
If you disagree, then do you at least believe that if a law enforcement officer happens upon a nude person in such circumstances, that the nude person should simply be told to cover up, and not charged with indecency?

I work nights so about 2a.m. I take my dog( AmStaff) for a walk in the park. I have for years.
This morning we were confronted by a German Shepard that growled at me or us for that matter.
We tried to avoid him,but he attempted to corner us and my dog became protective, grabbed him by the neck, shook him like a dog toy and pinned him.
Next thing I know there is a Police officer, gun drawn threatening to shoot my dog.
It turns out the shepard was a K-9 officer sent into the park to search for a burglary suspect.
I spent the night in jail, my dog is still at Animal Controll and we are being charged with assaulting the K-9 officer who agressed on us.
And YES! Pluto was on a leash the whole time.

Will the charges stick?

Assume somebody with a fake gun comes up and robs me. I think the gun is real. If I defend myself and end up killing that person, is it self defense or manslaughter? What would happen to me in court. Assume it is PROVEN that I was defending myself.

Lets assume the person with a gun was under 18 and I didn't know it.

In islamic law there is concept of House of war(dar-al-islam, Non Islamic countries) and house of Islam( countries were shariah is the law). It is the goal of every Muslim to convert everyone in Non Muslim countries. Muslims don't have to speak the truth while explaining stuff to people because they consider the west to be the house of war. Do you think Americans who convert to Islam know this?. Would you trust an American who converted to Islam ?. Would you want you kids to live in a country were our Secular constitution is overthrown and Shariah is replaced.

An affiliate program of some kind like Amazon's, perhaps? I find that in the process of explaining some fairly complex ideas at my site, song analogies emerge. For example, in an effort to explain House Finance Committee Chairman Barney Frank's proposal regarding the latest U.S. effort to prohibit Internet gambling, I find Bob Dylan's old protest song, Paths of Victory, to be illustrative. See http://www.pokerpulse.com/legal/viewtopic.php?t=76.

I just graduated from law school and passed the bar. I live in Wisconsin. I want to practice law, but not necessarily for a firm. What steps do I have to take in order to open my own practice. I want to work from home until I have established a client base. Can I do that, or do I need an actual office? What other steps should I take? I know I should purchase some malpractice insurance, but other than that, I am in the dark about this.

Is Helium website a way of giving people false hopes? I joined Helium just to check it out. You create content and supposedly get paid if readers score your content high. I looked at the forum's page. It truly sad. One guy said he was retired and submitted about 50 articles to Helium and hasn't earned a nickel. He was surprised because he said Helium suggested that by writing, he'd be sure to make money. I've published fiction and essays in competitive and professional magazines and when given assignments, I get paid. The quality of a lot of helium's 'content' as really amateurish. The person to whom I refering--from what I've read of his stuff--is a terrible writer. He doesn't know the basics of writing. But the more people who write for Helium the greater chance they make money from their ads. Like Publishing Clearinghouse envelopes that say you've won $1,000,000. They have the nerve to say they are a great public service

my little cousin was recently caught shoplifting $50 worth of cosmectics at a drug store. the police was not involved however the store security said that we will be sent a letter of demand for $450 and if we don't pay they would proceed to court. since my cousin is so young, her guardian is responsible for the payment. but her parents were at work so i had to pick her up at the time and the notice they gave me stating they will seek charges were never signed by a guardian. i also noticed they spelt the guardian's (her mother's) name wrong. if the following was a mistake on the security guard's part does that mean she does not need to pay the $450?

All the developed nations does not have this "inheritance" policy. If inheriting property/money is removed from the law in INDIA does our nation becomes a developed nation as the money(hidden in Swiss banks/ black money) comes out?

Does anyone else think that the smoking ban is a bunch of crap? I do. I smoke and my feelings aren't really hurt that I won't beable to smoke at a restaurant after I eat , but I don't eat out that much and I can go hours without a cigarette. I just don't think that anyone has the right to tell people where they can smoke. I think it should be up to the owner of the establishment. And if you are a non-smoker go somewhere else. Don't push your issues on me. If they can ban smoking.....what's next? Why not sugar-it makes people fat, why not trans fats-it kills people, why not alcohol-it kills people?I rarely drink and I don't drink in public and I NEVER drink and drive, so shouldn't drinking (in public) be banned because it is a hazard to MY health.I shouldn't have to worry about driving my own car minding my own business, prolly smoking a cigarette and have to worry about being killed by a drunk driver! To me drunk driving poses more of a health risk than smoking in public!

Come on now, its history making time! And think how fun it will be to sell next year. Real companies please. Wal-Mart has told me to my face that this book would "never happen". They never spoke that way to me before and we fought everyday for 20 years proceeding this. With the MOST SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS in EVERY TOWN up and down EVERY HIGHWAY throughout this vast country it was my view we should do some good for the people who supported our success, they didn't. That fight began 20 years ago this year while attempting to make a presentation to the WMT Board of Directors entitled "American Showcase". That presentation was interrupted midway through by the only female in the room. She displayed a side of human nature I had not seen before at 20 years old, or since, to that degree. Utterly rejecting community based economics for a quick obvious run into hell she scolded me for the audacity to ask her to LOSE MONEY by paying a living wage or buying American made. Her name? Hilla
