Its a scam, a well known one, another going around now is the Lotto scam where they tell you you won a lottery based on your website address randomly chosen. That one claims to be based in the UK, but the Nigerians have gotten themselves such a bad reputation that they use other addresses to make themselves seem more honest.
Don't ever send money to an unsolicited email. Its quite foolish. Nope, not ever, no excuses.
No one give money to strangers they won't and you shouldn't.

Write them back and tell them they can deduct the fee from the check... or, if the check is sizable, tell them they can have 5% of the amount of the check for their fee... or tell them as soon as the check they send you clears the bank, you'll send them the fee. But, it's better just go ignore it. Otherwise you'll get on their "list" and they'll never leave you alone.

If you send money... you will never see your money or the promised check.

Report it to your State Attorney General. Report it to the FBI. Report it to your POP server manager. Maybe they can set up a block for that site, or that content.

Anytime anyone asks you for money so they can send you more money red lights should start flashing in your brain.

Have you even had a claim with the Nigerian government that could have been amended? I would be suprised if you did.

I think everybody who has an e-mail address has received some version of this letter. It is a total scam. Just imagine if they gave money to everyone and how much that would amount to. I hope you haven't sent them any money.

It's a scam. You have to send the fee in advance and they'll be really happy if you do. And if you complain, they're going to apologize and let you do it all over again.

After giving them your checking account style and the customary $5000 for tax applications, it would purely take 4 to 6 weeks. meanwhile, I even have some swampland in Florida it somewhat is on the industry at a all-time low-cost.

I have gotten emails like that too and it's just some people trying to scam you. Just mark the messages as spam in your inbox and leave it alone.
