Thirty years ago we ran away and got married by a Justice of the Peace in Virginia. For reasons to lengthy to go into, a year later we got married again in Maryland in a church. In 1992 we separated and in 1994 we divorced, him doing all the paperwork and stuff. I lived in Maryland, he lived in Virginia. The divorce decree was in Virginia. I want to remarry in Maryland and just got a copy of the divorce certificate. It sites the first Virginia marriage date. Will I still be on record in Maryland as still being married? I don't know what to do.

After raining for 2 days straight, they reported urine spots on their patio below mine. If I watch tv or listen to radio above "2", they complain. If they see something out of place on my patio, they complain to get it removed. If I walk too much in my apt, they bang the ceiling or call landlord. what can i do besides sitting in a corner and holding my breath, especially when the landlord thinks I'm being defensive and beligerent because I always am being put on the defensive? My landlord is now threatening me..I'm 40 yrs old, never have guests, my dog is quiet and never urinated on the patio, and i live alone. Something has to give. What can i do? The landlord has gotten aggressive even though the complaints stopped and has even called family friends (the builder) to complain about me because when i first called to report possible tenant harrassment, he didn't even consider it and considered me to be defensive and uncooperative. I never even raised my voice! what can i do?

I went to a new OB Gyn on 6/15/2007 and was given a prescription for birth control, on 7/16/2007 I found I was pregnant. On 7/17/2007 I had a sonogram and was informed my pregnancy was ectopic, I was 6-8 weeks, and I was bleeding internally. I was sent to the emergency room where I had surgery and a portionof my right tube was removed along with the pregnancy. The doctor who gave me the prescription for birth control (ortho evra) did not bother giving me a pregnancy test only a pap smear. Had the doctor diagnosed me four weeks prior could the surgery have been avoided? Do I have a case for medical malpractice?

My mother did something that has now caused a civil lawsuit to be pursued and I'm supposed to be a defendant if I'm correct doesn't that mean they are trying to go after myself aswell? I have no money for a lawer neither does my mother will a lawer be appointed to either of us and if so when? I did not know of the crime being commited until she got the papers and told me and apparently myself along with other family members are now defendants any one have any idea as to if I will be given a lawyer? No one has been arrested just papers served any help?

I had a little to drink a few hrs prior to crash. The other driver was injured fatally. I was not arrested but the case is pending. Is there a site to go to to find out anything about the pending investigation? I live in Springfield Ohio..

I know the dog fighting occured on his property in Virginia. and I know its something really serious but so far all I've hearing is there is evidence and they have witnesses. Now heres what I see is wrong with this, they dont have any hard evidence other than he say she say that Vick was there. And if (not saying he was there) he was there and a witness seen him, could it be possible that they made a bet on a dog Vicks cousin had bet against and lost and want to get back at Vick instead or even worst if this person knows he was there shouldnt they face charges too for being at an illegal event such as that ? I dunno, im a huge vick fan and a pray he gets out of this, If he did it I dont think its right at all & He should do his time.Also the US has been trying to ban pit bulls from the US and put them down too so at the same time its hypocritical in this situation too.

Can someone talk me through this instead of saying Vick should die for it if you dont know for hes guilty or not?

Is just sad how people, even famous people are just going down in a horrible way with drugs......the future should be something better if everywhere every bussiness every place from fast food place to restaurants to proffesional or even to own a place should start to require drug testing.........
I do belive this needs alot of improvement.

I am a student and I wish I could be able to at least know a place where no one does that.
I want to find a way where they could actually open their eyes and I could see better improvements on this & require drug testing for everything!
Hopefully the future is better without dealing with stupid drug addicts and hire people who are professional and smart and not doing nothing stupid...... like reading the news paper or magazines and drug addicts...even high schools! Is sad and I hope someone agrees and helps me to speak up on this........thanks!!!

I understand that wearing my seat belt is a good safety precaution and I do wear mine. However, it bugs me that the government can legally require to me to wear a seat belt. If I don't wear a seat belt and have an accident, aren't I only causing harm to myself? Shouldn't our laws be in place so our actions don't harm another person? Does the government feel they have to protect me from myself? If so, what's next - a law requiring us to eat our vegetables? It could be argued that people who have poor diets incurred more health care costs and that effectives everyone through increased health insurance premiums.

I'm a patriot. I am proud to be a citizen of the U.S. I vote. My father was a high ranking police officer for a large metropolitian city but the seat belt law just bugs me!
