Government money for treatment is harder to come by. The Bush administration's $12.7 billon drug-control budget request for 2007 earmarks 65% for interdiction and law enforcement and barely 35% for treatment and prevention. A National Center for Addiction and Substance Abuse report found that, of the $277 that each American paid on average in state taxes to deal with substance abuse and addiction in 1998, only $10 went toward treatment and prevention.

Originally, there was a binder where you would sign in and out when delivering to this company. Now they have a computer set up where you touch the screen, and enter your name, your company, delivery or pick-up, and you have to scan your drivers licence. I think that's a violation of privacy. Local shop keepers tried this to help with stopping minors from buying smokes, but the Privacy Commission put a stop to this. What is the law concerning this?

Taking pictures making and exploiting people for their dignity and providing photos just for the buck. The invasion of ones privacy is against the constitution. What will it take to legally stop paparazzi invading the privacy of others and really attempting to destroy their reputation, and their lives.

ok when i was younger (like 8 or 9) i obviosly didnt know what sex and stuff like that was. and my older step brother (he was somewhere between the ages of 10-11) knew what it was and watched porn and stuff... anyways we did stuff, like kiss, and we took a shower together and slept naked together and may have played with eachothers parts in sexual ways.(i dont remember if we did or not) i thought it was like a game or something. but he was older and knew about that stuff. he should have known better.... but i dont know. i think it was my fault. i never said to stop. please help. and im really confused. because to be sexual abuse dont i have to say "stop"? and i didnt soooo.. i dont know. im telling my therapist tommorow i told her i my step brother abused me and i didnt know whether it was abuse or not. but i havent told her what he did. and she said i could tell her next time, which is tomorrow. so is it abuse or not. please help!

#1. Only sentence people to die who are convicted with DNA evidence, or caught on film. This prevents even 1 innocent person from being put to death.
#2. If you are convicted using DNA evidence, you do not get any appeals. you cannot appeal DNA anyway, so why bother. This will save millions in tax dollars
#3. From conviction to death will be less then 6 months. Without appeals, there is no reason to kepp them alive.
#4. Death will be from a gun shot to head, while the convict is lying in a grave. No mess, no fuss, and its quick. This will also save millions in tax dollars.
#5. Insane or retarded means nothing. If convicted under the terms above, you still die.

Collectively this will save the country 100's of millions of dollars, and let prosecuters focus attention other places. What do you think?

My son is living with me for the 2nd semester of college.(poor grades 1st sem., he has turned it around) The court decree says my ex should pay a 1/3 of room and board. She has send nothing. She should also provide 1/2 of the money for car insurance and the first $250 for health costs. Nothing.

How do I collect? I would like to keep lawyers out of this. No sense in giving them $500. Or could I have her paid my fees.

Anyone have something similar?

about 3 years ago i was in the passenger seat of a car that got pulled over and i got a ticket for no seat belt! i just got a ticket for no seat belt in my own car i dont want my insurance to go up and im curious as to what happens if i plea not guilty and what the usual verdict is on something like that. it also says first offense only where the rates are for pleading guilty does this mean i will have to pay more even though my first offense i wasn't in my car? help!

My child was born in Canada and has both Canadian citizenship and british citizenship as I am british. We currently live in Canada, however I have been thinking of leaving my boyfriend and going back home taking my daughter with me. Can my boyfriend stop me from taking her as he is the dad? And if I left then told him we were not coming back to canada once we arrived in England could he charge me with kidnapping?

the fence was errected by bullies for the exclusive use of a roadway that is for the purpose of all the properties, but I descoverd that there was a lot more to this than just a fence, these people threatend bullied, photographed constantly, audio taped video taped, even interfered with our medical records, how have they got away with this and why ?
