If a parent pushes a child to the floor that is a act of bullying. Try to picture yourself as a 6 year old first grader and a sixth grade kid comes and pushes YOU to the floor.
You just taught that it is okay to push people around if you need to and if there is broken glass on the floor I take it that you are worried that the child got cut?
You need to talk to someone and walk out of the room when you feel like hurting someone in the future.

If a parent pushes a kid down then yeah thats abuse, if there is for some reason a logical reason why the parent pushed the child down then accidents do happen, depends weither or not they were aware of the glass

If a parent pushes a child down on the floor, it's child abuse, regardless of whether broken glass is present or not. Physical anger is never okay.

Try "abuse". I think it would be so even absent broken glass. There is no reason to push a kid down on the floor unless it is for his or her safety.

The word is Intent, did the action by the parent intend to inflict injury. This is a difficult situation. Physical contact in this manner should never get to this point, Both sides need to take deep breaths and calm down. Again you would have to show the parent Knew the glass was there and intended to put the subject in harms way. Please resolve this quickly, If there is any further Physical activity, make the call.

The glass on the floor should not even be in the question. If you are pushing your children that is abuse. Might as well punch them in the jaw like a grown man if you are going to shove them like a man.

If a parent purposely pushes a kid down on the floor - I think that is abuse in itself.

Abusement isn't really a crime.
Pushing a child, especially if any kind of "excessive" force is used is certainly a crime. If the child falls onto glass in addition to being pushed, it certainly strengthens the claim of abuse.
