killings at Virginia Tech??
has america had enough to learn a lesson that such a right shouldn´t be granted so freely and also, that it is rather unnecesary
to have that right in the constitution?

The world is getting more dangerous. I think law abiding citizens should have to right to carry protection. Hand Guns! In the old west, people were careful because everyone carried a gun. Could less life been loss at Virgina Tech, if someone had the ability to protect themself? How about daily life? If your life is threatened, would you want to be able to defend yourself? What about 911? The stewards and pilots if they had a way to protect themselves? Crimes, would there be less if they knew just about anyone could harm them in a criminal attempt? I know someone will say more gun control is needed, and I will say to that is: nothing will stop a law breaker, but if you have a way to defend yourself then you at least have a chance.

I don't understand how he can make changes to our Constitution while we stand by and watch. Does anyone know the political process we can take to retract what he has already done as quickly as possible? Put things back the way they were? I know he will eventually leave. Seems voting him out didn't work. Is there some emergency step we can take to stop him in his tracks? Stop him from ruining our country? I think we need to add something to the constitution, that no president going forward can ever make changes to the Constitution without the vote of the people specifically for that action. We should be allowed to say no, not politicians saying it for us. To even entertain a change should require very American's approval.

SO here is my situation. Last September I was looking for a roommate and I found someone (from Saudi Arabia) to live in my apartment and pay half the rent. He told me that he might have to leave after 6 months and I told him that as long as he stayed at least 6 months that was fine. So he signed the lease with me which goes all year. The problem is he only stayed 2 months and never found a replacement for me. He finally found one of his friends to take over his room in March. I had to go 4 months paying the rent all by myself. He says he doesn't have to pay his share becasue he wasn't living there. He is on the lease though and still is till this day. Do I have any legal grounds to make him pay for those 4 months?

We have plenty of laws in place to restrict the possessing of firearms. Do we need more, or enforce the ones we already have? Do we really need more restrictive laws on abiding citizens? Was the shooter at VT a law abiding citizen with legal gun ownership? If so, did the gun free zone the school had in place help or hurt the students?

It says in the Deceleration of Independence that we all have the god given rights to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. If it makes me happy to smoke weed why can't I if you don't like it don't smoke it. It's my life they shouldn't be able to tell me what I can and can't do outside of their walls.

Try to imagine that one of your loved ones was killed in the massacre, and then justify why guns should not be made completely illegal.
