Good point. If someone is determined to do great harm there is nothing you can do about it. If there were no guns at all he would have bombed the place or set it on fire or killed in a million other ways. There is no solution. You can't force people who are depressed or even loony to get help unless they want it. I don't think anyone wants to live in a country were the government can force you to be medicated. That's the only option and its not to appetizing.

NO WAY. If we made guns illegal all it would do would make innocent people more vulnerable to thugs and gangs so they could shoot us and we would have defense. We made Marijuana illegal but people still manage to get it so the thugs will still be able to get guns but the people wont.

You made your case.
Banning guns only takes them out of the hands of those who legally own them . They do not remove them from the guy on the street. The average law abider should not become the fall guy for crime, or defenseless through legislation.

Should we ban cars. 188 people die in car crashes for every 1 person that dies of a gunshot wound in the U.S.

I don't know where you live, but getting weed is fairly easy. Besides marajuana is illegal and lots of people still use it, so having a law making it illegal is useless don't ya think?

I am not for banning guns, but if you look at other nations, like Japan and England, which have, murder rates, suicide rates, and gun related crimes are all way lower.

i'm a lib but i belive in people legally getting guns.. i want a gun too.. a 45 glock so when i shoot they stay shot.
