i have been asked to attend the police station to answer some questions on alegations of fraud made about me, i know i have not knowingly done anything wrong, it relates i am told about a business that i owned that failed last year, one of my clients who was a friend has got very bitter about my present success and has made these allegations, she has used facts that she knew were innocent and twisted them to make them look like minor fraud, i have never been in trouble with the police, and i am terrified that i will not be able to prove anything, i have to go in next week, please help

I was just wondering what the doctor-patient confidentiality laws war in relation to age in Australia, and to how it applies.

My friend is going to be 16 soon and she will be getting a pap-smear, but she does not wish for her parents to know (I don't want to explain why). So any help will be greatly appreciated.

Through no fault of my own, I had my foot broken badly in 2 places, and because of a workplace technicality, I lost my Job. I can't sue the company because the technicality I lost the job on was in the "contract" from the beginning.....so here's my predicament:
My foot is badly broken and will take 2-3 months to completely heal, so applying for jobs right now will do me no good...
I am my family's ONLY source of income, and without that income, we cannot stay afloat.
What can I do now? I can't get another job, I can't sue my old job because "technically" they legally fired me. I can't borrow money from anyone because everyone I know is as broke as I am........so what?
I'm all out of ideas, and up $#!T creek without a paddle. ANy sound advice would be welcome.

10 yrs ago I had an abortion. Upon being laid on the table and strapped down, I changed my mind, I said I did not want to do this, I said this 3 times to the physician and the attendents. I had chosen to be sedated so I would not remember it. I started to fight them as they would not let me off the table, they did inject something but it did not put me under, and even with my protests they preformed the painful abortion anyway. I have talked about my abortion, but I have never shared that I said no and changed my mind, and they did it anyway till now. Was that illegal? Its seems so? Is there anything I can do about this......I mean.....what if some other women have had this experience? They are like me, afraid to say this because it seems outrageous and unbeleivable. Please respect the fact that I do not want to be lamblasted for my wrong decision to have one. I am only looking for true advice.

i lost my company's laptop recently...but is due to a theif case and i reported police..the company demanded me to pay for fully responsible as i need to pay back at full cost that i using for 1~2 years...is that a correct way or there is other way round...? i need this answer urgent pls...

for it.it cost me to register my vehicles and inspect them,it cost me in insurance on my vehicles,then they take taxes out of what i make to build the roads i am driving on ,and to pay for the policing of them.i believe i am paying for that right.

was NOT a "religous" question, it was merely a question of logic...by the way a woman's body that contains an innocent beating heart (that in most cases you "chose" to have intercourse) does NOT relay to a "woman's body"...who the hell cares anymore though? Everyone believes what they believe and I won't waste my time trying to convince anybody otherwise...

As someone from abroad, I was thoroughly disgusted and did not want to give it, but the people I was with, told me I had to give the bribe if I wanted the documents or I would never get them or get them after a lot of harrassment from them.

It still bothers me, and I now want to file a report and get this guy punished for demanding a bribe as a government offfice employee about this somewhere. Who do I contact and how do I got about getting this district office put on notice and punishment handed out. or am I being too idealistic?

first, it is not me, it's my friend. however, i am not looking to know what I, myself, can do, i would like help giving direction on what she can do.

Tomorrow morning, she is calling her phone company (cingular) to block his number. i would imagine that he cannot text message a blocked number either.

this person does know what she looks like, and where she lives - i think they went to school together years ago. from what i understand, a friend of hers gave him her number, obviously not figuring that this would happen

he sends her an estimated 20 text messages a day, and she doesn't have unlimited texts, so he is costing her roughly 2 dollars a day, for about three weeks now

she has not spoken to him, and has only ignored his calls and texts. he sends her text messages about what he wants to do to her sexually, and it is really freaking her out

over here in philadelphia, PA, USA, what all is she able to do about this?

I need to register my father's will (who lives outside of India) in India for his property in India. How do I do that?

Also how do I register his Power of Attorney. He has a case in the high courts, what would happen to the case if he dies. Can I carry on the lawsuit on his behalf, I am the power of attoerny holder, as well as executor of his will, as well as sole beneficiary.

I was given a subpoena to show up in court yesterday ,court is tomorrow I don't have a babysitter. There was a number I had to call after 6:00 P.M. which would tell me if I should show up tomorrow and I do but since I had to call after 6:00 P.M. I couldn't contact anyone to tell them my situation. Will I go to jail if i don't show up?
