A warrant will be issued for your arrest. If that happens they will arrest you and then you will probably have to pay bail to get out. Please do not ignore the subpoena. Even if you have to take your child with you. Who will care for your child if you are arrested? Foster care?

A subpoena is an order to appear before the judge to either testify or be be on a panel for jury duty. If you fail to appear, an arrest warrant will be issued. I would suggest taking your baby with you. If the order is for jury duty and doing it will create a crisis for you, the judge may excuse you. But the judge must excuse you. If you can, call in the morning before you have to be there to make sure that the session has not been cancelled. If the judge asks why you have the child with you, explain that due to the short notice, you were unable to find a babysitter and as a good mother, could not leave the child home alone. The judge should understand.
Don't just not show. You must show up.

Get a public defender..its a very uncomplicated technique. You won a subpoena, particular you do would desire to attend. otherwise, a warrant would be issued on your arrest, and you will finally end up having to spend time in detention center, getting a bond, and so on - regardless of that decide feels like slamming on you for ignoring the request. you won't be able to easily verify to not attend courtroom. And from the sounds of it, you actual would desire to get the region to courtroom besides. And persist with up on your grievance, do not basically permit that flow. they're going to bury it in the event that they probably can. The courtroom gadget isn't that super, and that they may be a actual soreness while they desire to, quite in a number of those cases.

A warrant will be issued for your arrest if you don't go.

HOWEVER, leaving a child unattended is much more dangerious. Warrants can be cleared up. Injured or dead children can't be.

I would suggest taking your child with you to court. Bring something to amuse the kid. Get there early and talk to the people at the court. You are not going to be the first person this has ever happened to.

I don't know what the subpoena was for, but normally, violating a court order can result in arrest. I suggest you start making some calls first thing in the morning.

It probably depends on the nature of the subpoena, but they could put out a warrant on your arrest.
