Fraud is punishable by imprisonment plus fines depending upon the gravity of the offense and mitigating or aggravating circumstances presented.

Don`t get yourself all in a tizz. It`s not for you to prove you didn`t do it - it`s for them to prove YOU DID. Remember that. If you`ve never been in trouble with the police before, you won`t go to prison - unless you`ve been laundering millions - which sounds very doubtful. If it was that serious you would have been arrested - not asked to go to the police station to answer questions - that means they have nothing to go on really - and are hoping you will "tell all." You know what they say - if in doubt - keep quiet......
Don`t worry.

If you know that you have done nothing wrong then you have nothing to worry about, if this person is telling lies then the police will see through her lies and she can get herself into trouble for wasting police time.

Your punishment depends on how well you are connected. If you any body in Mr Bush or Mr Blair's government take them along they will be able to make you look innocent even when you are 100% guilty

The worst is prison , but if you tell the truth and you did nothing wrong then you should be cleared.

well you should still have any documents relating to your company as its law to keep them for a number of years. aslong as you have these and have done nothing wrong you should be fine.
