This is a political question. Before our first president people lived without policy only with law. Now after 43 presidents we seem to be in disarray, in my opinion. What is your opinion?

My son has been having some behavioural problems at school for over a year now and we have sought help from professionals which was going well. We had a progress meeting with his senco (special needs) representative, a behavioural support worker and 2 psychologists, however, the head teacher stormed in and said that we either take him out of the school or she will permanently exclude him. I feel she cannot do this but dont know all of my parental rights and have no idea where to start looking for them or what to do, I just know my son is being discriminated against (for having a psychological problem as opposed to amedical one) and that this woman should not be allowed to intimidate parents into doing what she wants. Does anyone know what i can do or where i can start my research.

If you discovered your presidental administration was patently dishonest, and you felt that they were about to escalate the horrible situation they themselves *created* to a much worse level, what would you do?

Could you do anything at all?

A friend received a document informing him that his ex got a lien on his assets because of non payment of part of divorce settlement. According to my friend his obligations have been fulfilled and he's got proof of this. No prior notice by my friend's ex was given that he owed her anything prior to him receiving lien notice. What interests me is, how is it possible that someone can put a lien on one's assets without notifying the person whose assets they file the lien against? Shouldn't my friend have been given the opportunity to prove he fulfilled all his obligations towards his ex before a lien was placed on his assets?

We did not set up a payment plan I told him when I could send payments and how much so I guess we did. Anyway he is saying that what I am paying is not enough and that he can come get the car without notice. Can he legally do this since the car itself is paid for and I did not sign anything on the maintence?

I have a company name (not logo) that I'd like to protect. My company name is registered with my state's government; however, another company is using the same name in another state. The other company has been around much longer than mine. Neither of us have registered the trademark with the USPTO.GOV.

If I register the trademark before they do, will I have control over the name even though they have been using it longer than me?

If so, can I take their domain name and force them to switch their company name OR sell them a license to use the name?

Does anybody think police have too much power or in fact very little e.g reasonable grounds to perform stop and search activities, not being able to caution those under 18 years old etc...

I gave a retainer to a bankruptcy lawyer about a month ago. Since then he has not returned any calls nor has his phone been answered. He is a legitimate attorney because he has 2 pages in the yellow pages and 4 office locations. I think he's just bad at returning or answering calls. The retainer was only 50 dollars so I'm sure he didn't run off to mexico. Can I report him to any agencies? The BAR? All of the things he asked me to do were done, now I'm waiting on him.

I feel we are once again being "dictated" our rights as citizens of this country. I feel each parent should make the decision for their family. I base this decision at this time on the lack of knowledge of the product being used. Has it been tested? How was it tested? How effective will it be? Do any side-effects occur? Who is educating the parents? Do you think we are ready to actually give a shot to all girls between 9 and 18 years of age. What if this shot caused these individuals worse problems for this age group.
Who gets the blame and who pays for this? HA HA not the government for sure.

Withdrawal of 1/2 of the troops from Iraq, how many more young men will he have abandoned in a foreign country? They will mop the floor with our sons, he started this war and needs to see it through. Not to mention that he's bringing 70,000 iraqians to American soil. Bush selling off his own country?

Being gay or being suspected of being gay will get you kicked out of the military even if you can do something important, like speak fluent Arabic while we are fighting a war in the Middle East.

Bashing gays helped put an idiot like Bush in power and kept him there.

Churches in this country (and the world over) say that homosexuality is a sin, which as far as I know puts them just like murderers and rapists in Gods eyes and many of these churches are dedicated to keeping the homosexual community legally repressed, and thanks to voters in this country, they are doing a good job at it.

And I am willing to bet that an openly gay person could cure cancer, AIDS, stop every war everywhere, and singlehandedly reverse global warming, and this country still wouldn't elect them to the presidency.

So given all this, what difference does it make when one famous person says what the vast majority of our country shows by its actions and laws. Why does he somehow need to apologize?

Lets see how long you whiny @ss liberals take to get me kicked off again. But since you are so anit gun- tree hugging, scared to death of global warming. Let me ask you a question.. You and your wife are leaving a restaurant, theater etc. A masked assailant comes up from behind, grabs your wife and is intent on hauling her off, most likely to rape and then murder her. I come along with my legally carried .40 caliber semi-automatic, would it offend your anti-gun liberal sensibilities if I blew the guys brains out, therby saving your wifes life, or should I abide by your anti gun mentality and ignore the situation and walk away?

I purchased a pram on eBay for around £400. Seller cashed my cheque and pram never arrived, and seller now won't return email or phone attempts at contact. I've begun a dispute but am starting to fear it will need to be resolved via the claims process. Problem is, eBay only reimburses up to £120 - so I'm wondering about the best way to get the rest of my money back. Who should I contact about this?

thanks
