Lets see how long you whiny @ss liberals take to get me kicked off again. But since you are so anit gun- tree hugging, scared to death of global warming. Let me ask you a question.. You and your wife are leaving a restaurant, theater etc. A masked assailant comes up from behind, grabs your wife and is intent on hauling her off, most likely to rape and then murder her. I come along with my legally carried .40 caliber semi-automatic, would it offend your anti-gun liberal sensibilities if I blew the guys brains out, therby saving your wifes life, or should I abide by your anti gun mentality and ignore the situation and walk away?

Wow, 3 days and no answer. I'm no anti gun liberal but I would have thought that by now one of them would have whine, er answered this.
Liberals tend to think its more virtious to be a victim, until they happen to be the victim, they they tend to suddenly reassess thier ideas. Typical lack of committment.

You are not asking a real question; you are just sounding off against what you imagine "liberals" are.
Your silly "question" also assumes that your right to keep and bear arms has to do with revenge for an attempted crime. In reality, the point of America's superb Second Amendment is to empower We the People of the United States to resist any tyranny whenever the would-be-despots such as the present-day fundies think they can impose their ideas of the social order on America by force and by building "big government" power to control our lives.

yo dude,
if your state let's you carry a gun and you can be someone's hero, go for it. the states decide so if there are those who keep their states in check, then it's up to the gun owners to continue to lobby with their membership in the NRA etc. it's not people vs guns it's state government reps vs the voters. just ask the dude that said he carries a concealed weapon in the great state of texas!
besides, how many gun owners you know actually take safety courses as kids? maybe if we all did then the 'liberals' would feel a lot better about guns ending up in the wrong hands.

I know a lot of people who have guns and I'm not against their having them ideally. Unfortunately, most who have and own guns are not educated in the use of them, and they or their family members are seriously injured or die from careless use of these guns.
Why in the world would you want to be carrying a semi-automatic weapon on the street????

I'm a (L)iberal in Canada. Suits me fine. Legal gun - help someone - scum bag gets it - what could be better. The problem is simply that for every legal gun there are countless illegal ones and used for no good. End of story.

If it were to happen to a left wing nut case like Rosie O'whats her name, she'd first have her armed bodyguards kill the assailant then have you charged with some crime, then lie about you on TV. The rest of the press would, of course, not cover it.

ROFL... You my friend, are awesome! But... "libbies" seem to believe we (by we I mean cops, peace officers, po-po, or whatever we are referred to as) are just around every corner and are psychic and that our patrol units have the capability to travel at near light speed... you know... like in the movies, and of course if its in a movie it HAS to be true.
