I will be turning 18 in three weeks and was basically told that I am being cut off and to move out by the following weekend. I am still in High School and only have till may before I graduate. Since you have to do everything through you parents what would I do. Would I still need a guardian or what?

Does anyone else see anything wrong with this? "Cook County Judge John Moran granted a defense request Tuesday to allow Johnson to leave the state as he awaits trial on gun possession charges." If this was a regular Joe (That did not have the luxury of a good\expensive lawyer) this would have never happened. In my opinion he should not be allowed to travel since it is illegal to leave the state or they should have lobbied to have the trial before the playoffs. If you commited or are suspected of a crime you should have to pay consequences LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. I know its an opportunity of a lifetime for any young football player. But it should not excuse him from his legal responsibilities and obligations. Any thoughts on this?

Why is it the Government can tell me how safe I need to be in my own vehicle(seatbelt law)? Yet some states do not even have helmet laws for motorcyclist.

I was ina motor vehicle accident in Ky. I didn't have insurance on my vehicle which is a state law. The accident report states that no one is at fault, but everyone who reads it says it is his fault. the other driver had insurance, and now I'm wondering should I sue because my vehicle was totaled and my daughter substained back injuries and I have a stack of medical bills. If I do sue, can I even win?

ALL amendments of the US Constitution ARE being abridged and weakened ONLY by DOMESTIC ENEMIES.

People can no longer insult without being punished.

All forms of expressions are being BLOCKED, CENSORED, FILTERED, and/or DELETED by non govermental entities and individuals.

Is the US Constitution a shell of itself ?

The loop hole law givers? The greedy businesses that rely on them to do their dirty work. Doesnt this give the real barristers a bad name? All these con men with a law degrees and they run all these brokerage firms? I am wondering why they did not let Bush in he is a Con Man? ha ha I guess because of his grade point average 2.35 and he has attention deficit span disorder?

i was given a puppy as a gift from my ex boyfriend... he had taken out a loan to buy him, then paid for him with his credit card and used the loan to pay his credit car company. i had decided to help him pay half of the loan which was 500 as well as bein the sole caretaker of the dog which i have now had for 6 months. i have every single vet bill we have encountered and i care for this dog like he was my child. we have broken up since then and he is threatening to take the dog away and take me to court.. i am not sure if this is possible and what i can do to keep my puppy who i care more about then myself... please can someone shed light on this situation

I'm 20 years old and have no prior criminal history, I have a clean record until now. I'm scared and I know what i did was WRONG and i really regret it. I know this will stay on my record forever. Im just scared because I was given a citation to appear in court next week, I still live at home with my parents, I'm a fulltime student and have NO job. I dont know if i should get a lawyer, anyways I cant afford that either. Basically since I'm an adult I should know better than a minor, I'm scared that I might get arrested on my court date and go to jail. The thing i stole was 520. The citation said 3rd degree felony on it, does anyone know what will happen. I also got let free the same day i got arrested and i didnt have to pay for bail. Has this happened to anyone, if so what happened? how much was the fine and/or other cost. Do you think the judge will arrest me for this knowing that i have a clean record. Do you think I will have a good chance without a lawyer to represent me. Will my fine be under $ 1000. Thanks 2 all for the advice.
