Whether you are eligible for a hardship license will depend on why your license is suspended, and the laws of your state.

Some states don't grant hardship licenses at all. You should first go to your state's DMV website and see if its even possible. Then, if it is, they will usually list the requirements and eligibility for them. For instance, in some states, if your license is suspended for points, you can get a hardship license. But, if its suspended for DUI or other offenses, you may not be able to.

If you still don't understand the answer, contact an attorney licensed in your state. For a referral to an attorney, contact your local or state bar association.
