Or anyone who chose not to do it?

Would they be forced to do it?

Could the judge order them to do it?

Would they're testimony be affected?

Well I'll tell you guys flat out. I have a felony from when i was a minor. I was told i couldn't get an apartment if i had one but they didn't seem to find it on there little background check thing and i ended up getting one no problem. I know if you were a minor when you got it they can't find it, but i know the army can. Well can the border patrol to canada find stuff like that or no? It also took the army recruiters a week to come up with my record so....idk maybe i just can't go there? Anybody know?

I realize the matters of crimes dealing with casinoes and gambling, but there are other reasons why gambling hurts a community and the financials to a community. Please do not give me a yes or no answer, but give me an open-ended question.

Let me explain. In our closet there is a small hatch like door in the ceiling (does not lock), inside is the attic... A few weeks ago I find it wide open, call mangmnt they tell me to call the police. Police come and climb half way up in there and are baffled, because my attic is shared by the residents behind me... Officer suggested I get a gun and have my husband drill it shut the best he could. As the cop was leaving a man approached us and asked if we were missing items from our apt., I inquired why & who he was, he said he was the resident behind me! Management will not tell me if he has the same attic door in his apt. and we have already drilled it shut on our side. I am scared that I am going to walk in on someone in my apt., I believe someone was here while we were out of town prior to finding it open! How can I go about getting out of my lease without hiring an atty. and are there agencies which oversee apts. and their safety regulations, how do I find them? (I live in Texas)

I am having a problem resolving an issue with my cell phone company (cingular) who is charging me extra minutes for calls i make toward the end of the month to push me closer to my max minutes to avoid me having roll over minutes???.i have called numerous times and am given a different answer each time. i have noticed that toward the end of each month i am being charged more minutes than i am actually using.(i am aware of the rounding up of (eg. 1minute 1 second=2 minutes) but they are charging me (eg. 4:14=6min. , 5:44=7min) and are giving me b.s. stories of transformer switches and tower problems and am told it will be fixed when the computer updates,(apparently it never does).cingular keeps giving me extra goodwill minutes but it does not fix the real problem.i have had nothing but problems with them and want to know of some government telecommunications board to get to the bottom of this.

I have recently entered into a purchase agreement for my first home. I got my mortgage pre-approval fine, and the contract between myself and the seller was written up. The house I purchased currently had a tenant in it, however, the seller had an agreement with the tenant to have vacated the premises before the contract settled, and there was a clause in the contract she and I signed confirming that this would happen. I have since had my mortgage fully approved and I am now 14 days from contract settlement, and I get a call from my real estate agent telling me that the tenant in the house is now refusing to move, and while he had a verbal agreement with the seller that he would be gone, he has now chosen to break that agreement. The tenants agreement with the seller may be verbal, but the seller's agreement with me is written in a signed contract. The seller is now saying they will crash the contract if the tenant isn't out by settlement. What can I do? I really want my house!

An advertisement on the Cabelas website states "save $120". Then, when you click on the item it shows the reg price as $399.99 and sale price of $349.88, (not the $120 less that the original advertisement states). After calling, the first explanation I receive is that the "original price" of the item in 2003 was over $500, and that's where the "Save $120" comes from. The next explanation was that the "Reg price of $399.99" is a misprint and ... "We have the right to not honor a misprint". Now I'm waiting to call the corporate office tomorrow, but would like to know the legal parameters so I can speak intelligently with them. I'm of course hoping they will discount the "reg price" of $399 that they list by the $120 they advertise that I will save.... Thanks

Think about it! If you get caught with any child in your car that is not buckled up (may they be your child or not) you will get a ticket. But children every where, everyday get on school buses and it is not against the law for them to ride without the use of a seatbelt. Someone please tell me why!

**For a federal government job, you cannot even have had arrests right?

I got a Misdemeanor class C dismissed 5 years ago and want to know if I can still get it expunged.. Eventhough it was dismissed, it still shows up on my record as dismissed. I want it to go away completely. I am studying languages right now and wish to be an interpreter for a big agency and don't want this to hold me back. I've worked for the federal government before and I know they perform a very thorough background check.. Would this even matter for a background check like that?

I had some shoddy home repair work done. I had a faulty patio cover installed on my enclosed room. It keeps leaking and the company cannot seem to fix it. I am sending the company a letter this time telling them that if they cannot repair the problem this time (this will be the fourth attempt) I will contact the BBB and take legal action to get my money back. When I send the certified letter, do I have to mail a copy of the letter to myself or is a copy of what I sent sufficient? I don't know if it needs to be mailed to myself in a sealed envelope to prove what I sent. Any advice appreciated.

I know that if you are involved in an accident no matter how minor, you're supposed to stop and wait for the cops. What about almost causing one? I was riding my bike when a car almost (and I mean almost) hit me. She just slammed her brakes and when I was out of the way, she just drove on. Is the consequence of running a red light and almost causing an accident more severe than running a red light with no traffic? What if you're caught by a red light camera? I'm in Ohio.

Any info I could tell them next time we talk?
