I am having a problem resolving an issue with my cell phone company (cingular) who is charging me extra minutes for calls i make toward the end of the month to push me closer to my max minutes to avoid me having roll over minutes???.i have called numerous times and am given a different answer each time. i have noticed that toward the end of each month i am being charged more minutes than i am actually using.(i am aware of the rounding up of (eg. 1minute 1 second=2 minutes) but they are charging me (eg. 4:14=6min. , 5:44=7min) and are giving me b.s. stories of transformer switches and tower problems and am told it will be fixed when the computer updates,(apparently it never does).cingular keeps giving me extra goodwill minutes but it does not fix the real problem.i have had nothing but problems with them and want to know of some government telecommunications board to get to the bottom of this.

have you escalated this issue up to management? Get used to this kind of crap. The more they combine back under one roof and a monopoly the more you will see this treatment. Cingular is owned by BellSouth and Southwestern Bell, which of course is being bought by At&T.

Contact your state attorney generals office. Explain your issue to them and if they cannot help I am sure they will direct you to proper department. I have always been very happy with the results I have received from their assistance. You can fill out a complaint form on the Internet for them too.

Keep escalating within the company. If the customer service representative isn't doing anything, try their manager. Then contact your state regulator or the FCC.

I would start with the bottom, you know call like your senator, or governer, then start working your way up.. maybe michael jordan next, then the president, and finally if none of those people get the job done.. you'll be forced to call Oprah. Good luck man.
