I'm wondering about 3mths.ago i was the causing of an accident I had no insurance but when my tag was ran in my insurance was valid i knew i didn't have insurance. Anyways I haven't really heard anything from the people that i hit so is there a limit of time that they can wait before the lawsuit can't be done?

It completely depends on what the statute of limitations (the law which says how long a person has to bring different types of suits) is in your state. You can probably finding this out by going to your state's homepage and looking for information about legal aid or something similar.

might depend on the state you live in. Here the statute of limitations for a cause of action in an accident case is two years

there is a statute of limitations on everything except treason and murder, give it time, they've got about 9 months for their attorney to find everything you own, and file civilly against your uninsured butt. I hope you lose everything but your birthday.
Someone in your situation ran a red light and hit me a few years ago, broke 3 vertabrae and my pelvis. I'm in constant pain 24/7, but all the b*st*rd owned was the piece of s h i t car he totalled when he hit me, he'll be up for parole in two years, don't get to comfy, your's is sure to come
