I will not smoke in my car or home. I smoke outside regardless of any stupid law. I have family that does not smoke. I will be polite and make sure I am in a designated area in public. However, I get really tired of non smokers wandering by these areas just to act as if they have been gassed.

Nope. I should be able to smoke anywhere unless it's private property and I'm asked not to. It's not illegal to smoke cigarettes and neither is annoying a non-smoker. And I pay for public buildings the same everybody else does. I don't like second hand smoke either but people should not be treated like second class citizens just for smoking.

No. I am a smoker and I can understand it being banned inside a building where it will affect non smokers. But not being allowed to smoke outside in the open air is carrying it way too far.

Cars are more dangerous THEY should be illegal.
If others decide what is legal in my home, they should also pay for it and the related taxes.
It's time anti-smokers stop being such hypocrites and start looking at their own failings before pointing out other's.
Keep your government out of my home but feel free to invite it into your own to control your every move and action.

No. Smoking should be allowed in specific designated areas. For example certain sections of restaurants, certain flights, outside, etc...
I haven't smoked for 3 years now (new years resolution), and I don't mind if others smoke and why limit them if it doesn't bother you?
Some areas are already smoke free, like Hong Kong...

Even if you do smoke in your home or car that air ends up outside sooner or later along with all the other pollutants that we create. So if people want to smoke inside their homes and cars or outside that's fine with me.

Ex-smokers like me are the worst. I think smoking should be illegal period. It sucks getting on an elevator with some skank that just had a smoke break. It stenches out everything around. I can't stand even being in traffic behind a car with a smoker blowing that stench back into my air conditioner.

I have an allergy to smoke. Took allergy shots twice per week for years - due to smoke/tobacco giving me flu like symptons.
Still.......if the government bans smoking now. What will they be banning a few years from now?
