Cause i bought tickets to a Capleton concert and then Gay Activist Groups protest and then it was canceled and of course i was mad. So what's your take?

checking account and took money and made a fake driver's license with my info and her picture. She also had business cards printed. That's just what the cops found, but I am afraid she may have done more. What, if anything, should I be ready for?

I signed a contract a few weeks ago and he still hasn't started. his finish deadline is in a few days. i was thinking of doing the job myself.

I signed a contact but upon signing I now know that the person I sign this with the purchased did not belong to him until about 30 to 45 days after I signed this. Now he is saying I breached the contract how can that be when or if it was valid. do I have grounds for legal action.

one night i was at the gas station, a cop in his own truck i said hello to him... a week later i was walking to my apt a little tipsy w/ a full cup of e & j,totally conscious, same cop pulls up and tells me im gonna get arrested tone of voice kinda aggressive, i say no i havent done anything wrong, and new cop pulls up, and i explain to him what was happening, and i back up onto the grass, the bad cop tells me to stop backing up, i said no i live here, the nice cop said go ahead and go, and the bad cop said pour out the brandy, and i said no it was expensive, and the nice one said you can keep it, just put it in the freezer... so i went home, then one night in my apts my friends were laughing loudly, the same bad cop comes to my door and my bf goes outside to tell him we'll be quiet, and i hear loud noises, i see the bad cop throw him to the ground and punch him in the head, he then pulls me out and we both go to jail, then i get home 3 days later and theres a ticket? what do i do?!?!

I've been doing a little online research, but it's still a bit fuzzy. If an employer will not pay overtime to non-exempt, non-government employees (time and a half over 40 hours worked in a week), but offers compensatory time instead, shouldn't that time be given at time and a half, as well?

What about so-called "non-profit" employers, like churches?

Is "comp" time even legal?

My dad works full-time on salary and his pay day is on the 1st and 15th on the month. With the new year approaching, his boss has informed him that because banks, etc. will be closed January 1st, he will not be paid until January 2nd, 2007; is this legal in Ontario (Canada)?

I'm trying to locate documentation stating otherwise...

Several weeks back I sent the ACLU a request for assistance, after several second requests I received a form letter denial of assistance. Last night at approximately 7PM EST, I sent the ACLU an e-mail saying I was an Irish immigrant trying to get a driver's license, this afternoon at approximately 3:30PM EST, I received a detailed response for assistance. Apparently the ACLU only cares about you if you are an illegal immigrant, a flag burner, or someone who doesn't like to see a Christmas tree at the mall. My question: Who actually supports the ACLU and why??

Good Afternoon, I was recently assaulted in a manner conistent with Assault/Battery by contact which is a Class C misdemeanor in Texas. The individual is the mother of my young daughter and committed the act in the presence of our young daughter while I was at her residency to pick her up for visitation. She brought up a conversation point in which my responses, though passive, angered her. She eventually reached the point in which she lost self control and struck me across the back. I immediately contacted the authorities and they issued her the appropriate citation. She must either request a trial or pay the fine which is an admission of guilt. Ironically enough she posted a review of the situation on her online blog site and admitted that she struck me. I have captured copies of her online admission to committing the assault and will use those if a trial occurs. Does she have any type of defense? How will things proceed from this point? Thank you.

I thought my employment was 'secured' while on FMLA, but the HR person told me that a job elimination superceeds the FMLA law when it comes to budget cuts. Is this true? (I'm in Washington State). They gave me 30 days to find a new job within the company.

All signs point to it being pirated. Thin DVD box, burned-looking disc and wouldn't play on my older DVD player. Also was available for rent on the weekend before release. The label on the cover was alldaflicks.com. I checked that site but it is passworded.

i went into my local jewelry store to purchase something for my husband for christmas. they showed me the catalogue and gave me the price. they wrote up a receipt (which i have) and i paid for it in a check. they told me the item would be in in a week.
well they called and said they had used an outdated catalogue and the actual price is 55.00 more then what they quoted me. they said they would cover 20.00 of it and that the rest would be my responsiblity. i called today and told them that i will not cover the other part beacuse it was not my fault. i already paid for the item
they told me that they would not issue a refund because it was a special order. i said to the manager that it was not my f-ing problem that they used an old catalogue. you gave me a rpice, we agreed, and i paid for it.
and he said, more or less, too bad.

am i in the wrong, or is the jeweler the wrong do-er here?

After several years of asking for data from the grid system on any input from any wind farm into the grid not one reply the grid can not take power from these farms it starts pulsing onthe system i live in wales. and no mr morgan we do not like like to see them on the landscape, they are a total mess any one agree?
