Yes, as a matter of fact he does. He goes to all European countries and North American countries for money to help the starving and those with AIDs...shame on him.

Bono is awesome(musically and wiith the whole charity thing).
Because America is "arguably" the wealthiest country in the world.
Bono's "Red" Products are being sold all over the word. and money from those go towards his charities.

He also gives his own money and time to support a cause that HE finds important. That's why he's been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Perhaps if more people worked as hard as Bono to support what was important to them, this world would be a better place.

id say bono has re-written the book on fund raising and charity and world consciousness - he is a force to be reckoned with - unelected and uninvited he really led by example - i think he did it only because he had enough for himself and couldnt understand why more people didnt share their good fortune - so he set out to talk them into it - and he did

No he does not. He moved his business affairs from Ireland to Holland to avoid taxes - and then publicly called on the Irish Govt. to give tax-payers money to African charities. He is very generous with other peoples cash!
