It was her first and only arrest and is a misdeminer not a fellony. She has done the classes ,public service work, and will soon be off probation

It really shouldn't unless she is applying for a driving position. Is she listing it honestly on her application, or is she not listing it and hoping that they don't find it? She should talk to whoever interviews her right out of the gate (or even before she goes in for an interview) and ask if a DWI is an automatic disqualifier. That would save her the trouble of wasting time on an interview that she is disqualified for. It could also be that they don't want to hire her and they are using the DWI as an excuse.

It will never end. That's one of the many consequences of breaking the law and being convicted. I suggest she be upfront and honest with each place she applies for employment with. Depending on the jobs she's applying for, she may not be allowed to perform them because of the DWI. Also, many businesses have a Zero Tolerance policy for the abuse of drugs and alcohol, and to hire her would be in direct conflict with those policies, whether or not she has completed her sentencing. You choose to break the law, then you pay the price that comes with it. It's just that simple.
