I am currently working for an agency and have been for about 3 months. When I phoned yesterday to see how much holiday I have accrued I was told that the holiday year runs from October to October, so at the moment I have not accrued any holiday, and any holiday I did have has been wiped off. The woman was exceptionally rude and offered no help, so I have written an email to the MD of the branch asking him to reconsider.

When I joined the agency I did sign a contract, which undoubtedly states that holiday runs from October to October but I can't believe that they can simply wipe out these days? Any adivce as to what to do?!

I have posted some questions about the action taken against me and the facts are that I have already done 5 months two days on an 8 month sentance never being in trouble before. The circumstances behind are very shaky but the law has gotten away with this action for so long that they will not stop putting any one that will stand against the thing they do with some in jail with no pripor record and no actions in or with violence before I am now labled a violen tendanceys even though the truth will show a very stable man they are papersteining innocent people to jail for an on line game they areplaying with thwere own kids in collage. I fear since its happend already and I did file a complaint I will be shot and this time at point blank so as not to miss. I did try to get it in a court room but all including law stood with ignorence. Now how many arrest have been pencil whiped to jail. We knOW NOT ONE INNOCENT HAS BEEN WITH DEATH ROW . nO OFFICERS EGO OUT WEIGHT THE RIGHT UNBELIEVABLE

My ex-boyfriend has been having an affair for the last six years with a married woman who is his boss. Is it illegal for me to tell her husband? I've already called and told him about it, and was then threatened by my ex and his mistress with a civil suit for harassment (though I did not contact either of them). Her husband wants details. If I provide them, is this harassment toward him, his wife or my ex?

Recently there as been much furore in India over the fate of ‘Afzal Guru’, who is due to be hung for masterminding the 2001 attack on Indian Parliament.

What is your view on capital punishment? Do you agree that governments are right to use the death penalty for punishing certain heinous crimes? Or do you think that capital punishment has no place in a humane society?

Okay, here's the deal. My dad passed away last year and his father just passed away. I live in California as did my Grandfather.
My dad's widow is bugging me for money inherited from my Grandfather. She took all of dad's money and now says she is going to sue me because she is entitled to a percentage of my Grandfathers money. Also, the bank wouldn't release the account to her since her tie to my Grandfather was severed once her husband passed. My sister and myself are the only living blood relatives. Can I be sued since she was married to my dad or is she just blowing smoke?
And, by the way, Yes, I did split the money with my sister :).
Thank-you for the time you take to answer this question!!

I've read that this is one reason why new prisons are being built. This may be the new form of slave labor because prisoners are paid way below minimum wage. I also heard that in fifty years there will be more people in prison than on the outside. I bet those corporations involved would enjoy this better than outsourcing jobs to oversees and while money is changin' hands from corporation to politician I can guarantee that police quotas are getting bigger, innocent people are being railroaded into prison, and prison sentences are getting stiffer and stiffer.

For those idiots that didn't understand the question. I need advice not smart remarks PLEASE. My girl and I had argued on our cell phones. I knew she had been drinking and I didn't want to argue for fear of it esculating so I told her I was not at home(I was). Her keys were in the apartment so she broke the window out and I called the cops just to insure that I was not to be blamed for anything/and to make sure things to not go any further. They take her to jail for public intox and domestic violence and noone has been touched. I only want to know is there a way out of the domestic violence without people saying how stupid this was. I don't recall any of us being perfect. Hind sight is 20/20. Thanks for any descent replies this time.

It's my understanding that stem cells can be used to regenerate or even produce human organs and that they can be taken from fetuses. It just seems like common sense to get them from aborted fetuses then. I don't know why Bush would be against this when abortion is legal and the fetuses could be put to use instead of being disposed of. I wouldn't agree with cloning a person and taking his or her organs but using stem cells to help people get their 120 years which was promised in the bible would be great.

Interesting how when an INFORMED public is able to own guns legaly, violent crime drops. Criminals don't want to attack somebody who might have to ablility to up and blow them away. This benefits everyone, including those who do NOT own guns, as criminals will be hesitant to commit the crime.

My son has a terrible teacher this year. I have an appointment with his principal tomorrow to request that he be moved to a different room. News about our issues with this teacher has spread. I recvd. phone calls this evening regarding this teachers past behavior. I am now aware that I will be the third parent this year to request that my child be moved and worse yet this has gone on for years. I will no longer be satisfied if just my child is moved- I want the teacher removed. How can I document her incompetence and make it public knowledge? I am thinking of a format like "www.moviemom.com". What are the issues regarding defamation of character I should be thinking about?

The best teachers in the world are priceless - the worst teachers in the world are also priceless because no amount of money can fix the emotional damage they inflict!
