1) Get the facts about your worksite's policies and procedures concerning a formal complaint.
2) Once you know that landscape, find out who in the organization is in charge of handling such complaints (do NOT go to the head of personnel or human resources).
3) Be prepared to document dates, times, details, and witnesses of any and all harrassment events.
4) Be serious, be professionally dressed, be confident, and be committed to seeing the process through.
5) Document all presentations and interviews with the officer or staff person that interviews you.
6) If all goes well and the offender is brought to justice by the system, be sure to thank all of those involved and document the outcome for your file.
7) If all does not go well, lodge an appeal to a higher authority within the organization. Go all the way to the top if you have to and document all the way.
8) If you exhaust all resources available to you internally, take your documentation to a qualified attorney. Be sure to work out an appropriate payment schedule and know up front what all the fees are or will be. Preferably, suggest that the attorney take the case pro bono.

You need to have some evidence first any good lawyer will start by telling you to get some. Make notes, get witnesses to make notes, whatever you can get. If you can, get some of your coworkers to do the same and try to set up a meeting with a lawyer when as many of the victims can attend as possible. Everyone needs to stick together for anything to be done. If someone is afraid to come forward then you need to try to at least get a writen statement from them. Definatly need to contact the lawyer but as I said, It is easier for them to get started if they have something other than hearsay to go with.
