She felt the need to "out" me to many co-workers of mine, and continued to "joke around" about my "flamboyant-ness". Im very "straight acting" (if you will), and did not want to release that information. I feel as if I have to worry now around some of the people i work with. Im planning on sueing my her for slander/discrimination as an employer, and I also plan on sueing the company for not disciplining her for previous actions of hers and for the fact that they allow slander/discrimination. Any legal advice or does anyone think i have a legit case?

I'm wondering? Do you think they are like 'ambulance chasers' ?

Implementation worldwide

In some countries which have laws on "racial equality", and "affirmative action" is rendered illegal by a requirement to treat all races equally.

This approach of equal treatment is sometimes described as being "race-blind", in hopes that it is effective against discrimination without engaging in reverse discrimination.

In such countries, the focus tends to be on ensuring equal opportunity and, for example, targeted advertising campaigns to encourage ethnic minority candidates to join the police force. This is sometimes described as "positive action", as opposed to "positive discrimination".

It's time for the USA to catch up to the rest of the world!

I am under the impression capitol punishment is useless. I can not argure to take that which I can not freely give (human life), there is no real closure for families, and --I suppose, it is no longer a deturrent in our emotionally closed-off society. I'm interested in hearing different opinions.

I was informed by the real estate lady that if anything was wrong with the house, we could rectify it after closing. She was working both ends of the deal, so she wanted the paper signed. So it turns out that the roof leaks and she's telling me that I should have found that out before I bought the house. She will not offer help and lied about taking care of things after closing. The leak is old and has been painted over. What can I do to report her or get some satisfaction and/or money for the roof?

In all countries in the world, cigarettes are 100% legal, though some ban in public areas. On the other hand, marijuana is illegal in most countries. I find cigarette smokers more annoying than marijuana smokers, at least the latter does not bother people with their smoke. And both are harmful to health, and more people die from cigarettes. The only reason I can see is that tobacco is a billion dollar industry helping many economies, which shows that our governments actually don't give a damn about the citizens as long as there is money in it for them

If the govt. wont do their job lets remind them that there are still citizens who care enough to take the law in our own hands. If you are in the U.S. illegally then that means your rights are not protected under the U.S. constitution and thats where I come in at and remind you that an invader in my land will not be tolerated. whos with me?

Medical Doctors:
(A) The number of medical doctors in the U.S. is 700,000
(B) Accidental deaths caused by physicians per year are 120,000
(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 17.14%
*****Statistics courtesy of the U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services*****

Guns:
(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000 (yes that's 80 million)
(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500
(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.001875%
***Statistics courtesy of the FBI***

So statistically, medical doctors are approximately 9,000 times more
dangerous than gun owners. Remember, guns don't kill people, doctors do?

So much for "God bless America." How can we be blessed when we illegally invaded other country (Iraq) and the conservatives have been hiding the real truth from us regarding the number of death tolls Iraquians. The iraquians are flesh and blood just like we are, they are friends, sisters, mothers and fathers to someone else. If we really think this country is based on God's help then how come we have greedy Bush and his friends running this country by giving more to the rich and less to the poor with the tax system. Knowing that how could anyone still have voted for him? Proverbs 22:16. "He who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and he who gives gifts to the rich-both come to the poverty." Bottom line, America is no longer being blessed!
