I bonded a friend out of jail, but he seems to act like he is getting restless and I am not sure that he is going to appear at all his court hearings

If you are the surety on the bond, you need to go to the judge handling the case and ask to be let off the bond and state the reasons why. Your friend can appear at the same time to post a new bond or to turn himself in. If he does not, the judge will issue a warrant for his arrest.

Tell the court or bondsman that you want to revoke the bond. I know if it is a bondsman they will put the guy back in jail.

depends on the state you are in, but certainly call the bail bondsman, in the area i live in, the bailed person must be turned into the bondsman before you can be taken off
