An employee at my credit union has been gossiping about my financial transactions. Who can I file a complaint with? Would it be the board members or is there somewhere higher I can go? Thanks.

Now this is already the cause of several disputes between me and the neighbours (we were ok before they bought the dog) but now I am reaching the point that my patience is wearing thin.

The dog (a huge and extremely loud German Shephard) is always kept outdoors in their garden and just constantly barks. If I want to relax in the garden I am constantly disturbed by the barking and the occasional snarls. I have tried reporting to the council but they won't do anything. Even during the nights it would bark. I even tried to visit the neighbours to meet the dog but I was attacked!

It is costing me sleep and I found it extremely difficult to study with the constant racket. What should I do? Should I pursue a legal case against the neighbours?

PS: I would appreciate answers from anyone with a good knowledge of laws and/or council regulations in the UK!

Do pro-lifers oppose that? You hear so much about abortions...what about this?

First the fact that both are SOLD....is that ethical....you can't sell a kid....so why can you sell sperm or eggs?

Second....infertility treatments are on the rise....and whether you purchase sperm or an egg....you are essentially playing roulette...if you believe life starts at conception...the union between the two....wouldn't this be highly unethical then......most ppl that go thru fertility treatments are not successful the first time around...sometimes it takes several times to result in a pregnancy.

Is that ethical?

Mr X was involved in an accident when he drove his lorry into a house damaging property; but he only hit the house due to emergency swerving out of the way of a car which just pulled out blindly from a side road. The driver of the other car is unidentified.

House owner has now put in a claim 2 years after against Mr X for damage to property. What should Mr X do, as the Motor Insurance Bureau, for damage to property against an untraceable driver, has a limitation period of 9 months. Can they be nonetheless be added as a Part 20 defendant or just defend it on the basis of wrong defendant?

Thanks a lot.

loan they never paid back. Wages were being garnished from company we both had worked at but then this former co-worker got themself fired (on purpose?). Next tried to get property seized but court couldn't find anything (ie Car is leased, home in exes name, etc) to seize in their name. This person has basically dropped off the face of the earth and neither I, nor any other of our common friends/(former)co-workers know where this person is, etc. (it's been @ a year since they got fired). Any suggestions on what to do next? Can I go to the original court I filed and attempt to garnish any income tax refunds? The court has also been anything but helpful. At this point, I don't know where the person is living (heard rumors they were shacking up with someone in the area), if/where they are working, where they bank (also tried seizing bank acct but had nothing in it), etc. Help??

following on from a previous question do you think rape should be classed the same as murder in a murder the victim is no longer suffering this is left to the families of the victim but in rape the victim relives the crime daily and it can effect them for the rest of their lives the perpetrator if found guilty comes out of prison and gets on with life the victims pain and mental suffering carries on
a compulsary life sentence with a minimum 20 years would be a start. what do you think

To answer this question you have to assume that the Ivory is absolutely Legal - which a lot of it is since it could have been available before the ban that was put into effect in l989 or from one of the several exempted countries to the ban, or even from India where the Elephant is not killed for its ivory.

And you have to assume that it is affordable.

Curious - doing a study on this. Thanks!

I wrote to my local MP by e-mail about 5 weeks ago about an issue I am very unhappy about. His secretary replied the next day asking for my address which I then gave, but I have heard nothing since. I wondered if he is obliged to reply to me, and if he is, if there is some time which he has to do this by? Or are MPs allowed to sit on their arses and ignore their consituents?
