In some cases Section 498-A Act is being misued and now Domestic Violence Act introduced and how it works for effective implementation and how far it will useful for the men and women to lead domestic life happily. please comment.....

EACH AND EVERY SECTION OF THE LAW IN INDIA IS BEING MISUSED and nobody can stop it, this section is also an addition to the old ones.Is not it a sorry state of affairs that despite being so many laws written so elaborately everything is not fine in INDIA.Why i think because we(Indians as a whole including politicians,beaurocrats,judiciary,Govt./law enforcing agencies,and all other common persons) are not serious about these things,Everybody thinks the rules are not for me I am above the law.I hope this covers your question.

Word is Domestic Violence Act. Then why only for women protection. There are reverse cases also, agreed they are far few reported in India. but they are on rise. Even single man's life is as important. So need to be applied fairly to both sexes.

It would have been more helpful if you had specified that you were referring to the law that was recently passed in India. Considering how new the law is, it is impossible to intelligently comment on how the law might be misused or whether it can or will be implemented effectively.

To be honest, laws have some loop holes or the other and citizens of every country sometime or the other, misuse them. Hence it will be foolish not to accept that many will try to misuse the said Act.

For decades men have abused the women of India leaving them nothing and no place to go. shaving their heads ,wearing white, and in a hiden place in society. there are 32 million divorced and widowed women living with nothing. Now with this the tables are turned and the male and his family want to complain. as to many laws their will be abuse and for a long time the female has been abused. yes the law is poorly written and proof of such abuse should be proven of prior to arrest. we have been plaiged with poorly writen laws for centuries and the police hands are tied.
