From what I understand, many of the Chinese convicts who are being butchered for the sake of their organs did not have a fair trial and were tortured into making confessions despite having maintained their innocence. Their families were denied access to them and they were not properly represented. This is a travesty of justice and utterly reprehensible. It would be bad enough to make money out of their organs if they were genuine criminals, but to do so when a person has not been allowed to raise a defence and where an admission of guilt is tortured out of him is monstrous in the extreme.

The killing of convicts is always alright by me. In the UK we seem to be saying that the rights of the convict come first. If rehabilitation works, why do so many re-offend, then?
