Well yeah. But then again if insurance companies dealt with people honestly they would have no business.
Get rid of the insurance company lawyers and we wouldn't need the ambulance chasers to sue them.

I practice law, and I agree that it's not exactly classy for a lawyer to go on TV to advertise. However, it's sometimes a very beneficial thing. Many people who suffer from diseases or illnesses don't know that they could have legal relief. For example, if you were a guy who got asbestosis from installing asbestos, would you know off the top of your head that you could get $ in court for that? Probably not. So if these folks see it on TV, they may get help they could use.

Yes, on a grand scale. Ambulance chasers go after individuals; these lawyers are looking for class action suits.

My name is BillyBob Howe, of the Law Firm of Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe. I promise to give your case all the dignity you can expect from a law firm that would advertise on television.

NO, they are merely keeping the public informed that you may be entitled to compensation for something someone may have done wrong. If not for that information, some things would go unknown to the public.

i don't think so i think they're just advertising their service like any other business does. tv reaches more people than any other source, so ideally it's the best way for them to go.
