I believe that it should be legal. The government not allowing people who love each-other get married is ridiculous. Most of the people who don't want it base their opinions on religion. The problem with that is that we have separation of church and state. You have no right to force your opinions or religious views on others with laws outlawing something that is wrong in the bible. That is why it's not illegal in America for someone to eat shellfish, even though in Leviticus it is listed as a sin punishable with hell.

I think it is just like racism was back in the 50's. Granted, we still have racism, but I view gay people as the new group of people being persecuted by the bible thumping people who can't think for themselves.

What is your opinion?

Oh, by the way, the is NO sanctity of marriage. If there was people wouldn't be getting divorces like they were in short supply.

In a certain area there are some women who admit that they are raped. And the a team is established to investigate it. The result is published and they accused someone. The public does not know what method is used during the investigation. When the team is asked about the methods, they empashize on conscience, it is immoral to use positivism in this investigation, they said.

But from the historical point of view, we need to know bout these raping in detail right? We have right to know bout the witness, bout the victims and etc. But they keep it secret.

Which side is correct?

Yesterday my boyfriend and I bought a Sony Playstation 2 from a reputable store (in Canada). The package was to include the playstation, a memory card, a contoller, and the adaptors. We paid full price. When we got home and started to set it up, we found that it was used, the controller was missing and the adaptors were not only the wrong ones but were also used. When we went back to the store today to get a refund, they refused. They even went as far as accusing us of stealing the controller and adaptors and replacing them with the others. They refused to give us the name of the store manager and proceeded to call security on us. We were calm and would have settled for an exchange but not now. All we want now is our money back so we can go somewhere else to buy a PS2 for our son's birthday but they won't give it back. They followed us out of the store and everyone in the store was watching, I was mortified! What should we do? Isn't what their doing illegal or something? Anyone know?

What I mean is that a government should subsidize for its weakest citizens. Of course if someone works, then he has the means to get healthcare and therefore would not get healthcare from the government. If people do get healthcare from the government to help them, then it shouldn't be a handout from the government, but instead a step toward a helping hand in getting thier life back together, provided that they are young enough to work. Basic thoughts... not complete, but what are your thoughts?

Suppose a man/woman from World War II is on trial. She/He is german and she/he claims he was 'brainwashed' by Hilter. Say, if she/he didn't kill, torture, or use violence on Jewish women, children, men, the German soldiers would kill his relatives. She/He tortured many Jews, even killed some of them, and use violence on Jewish children and women as well as men. That person claims that they were brainwashed and afraid. But they still did what they did, it was their actions not anybody else's. And what about the people who didn't raise up to do that to Jews but they still did it to Jews. They did the horrible crime and they should be punished. Do you agree?

I can not find the bylaws of a school board in NY state. I am curious if a school board needs to be made up of people with certain qualifications. In my area, the public schools suffer around budget vote time because a certain religious group of people who only send their children to private schools, vote in excessive numbers, and always vote against the budget. The public school must fund their transportation, special services, internet...and who knows what else in order to pass a budget. In the last few years, this group has managed to obtain 8 of the 9 seats on the school board because of their huge block vote. Suffice to say, the public schools around here are suffering. Is this legal?

So, a landlord cuts his hand while removing mirrors off the wall of a former tenant, who didn't ask for permission before putting them up. Is he right in claiming reimbursement from the former tenant for his personal bodily damages (hospital bills) as well as property damage to the walls? Or does he forfeit those rights that are not specified in the tenant-landlord contract?

Guilty by association?

Don’t get me wrong, im not denying the holocaust here, or am i in any way condoning what happen. I recognise that it was a terrible event in history. But when people are put in prison for denying something which is an almost universal historical fact, i don’t get it.
If we persecute people for their false beliefs then how should we treat people who believe with all their hearts a false biblical record of the earth, people who deny fossil evidence, or even those people who think Xenu once ruled over the galaxy?
