What country do you refer to as raising the age of CR. In Ireland it is 7. In UK 10, in France 13.
Seems to suggest to me that Irish kids are smarter or am I missing something?

I have no idea where the government gets its ideas from - they want to raise the age of being incapable of crime to 14! Are you kidding? What about all those little neds from the age of 10 who commit all sorts of crime because their ned parents just throw them out the front door because its too much hassle to actually look after the fruits of their quick bonk at the dancing.

If your child gets to 10 without knowing the difference between right and wrong you have failed as a parent. We have enough problems with young hooligans in our cities without making them even less accountable for their actions.
