i live next door to property that i have cleaned for over 13 years

In some cases you can acquire a legal interest in property by 'adverse possession'. This basically means you openly use the property as if you owned it for a long time. You would have to petition the court for title and would become liable for any property taxes due. Taxes could be substantial if the property has been abandoned. If you think this applies to you, you need an attorney.

Never. The land belongs to the person paying taxers on it and it doesn't matter anymore what you do so long as that is true, can never become yours.

Did you pay it? I guess if you pay the property that you cleaned then i guess its legally yours.

cleaned... how would it become yours if it is cleaned by you? Do you pay on it? Have any right to it?

since you Put so much effort into it . there is a specific time frame...the very moment you pay for it it is yours..had i known you were cleaning it i would have had to pay you but since i don't; works for me....
