I work for a small business. This business is privately owned by a woman that is HORRIBLE with money. She uses the business money for her personal spending, she doesn't claim income tax, she hasn't been a legitimate non-profit business since Dec. 31 of 2003 but yet uses her tax exempt number for things. She also solicits donations for the business.

Okay, my question: Can she legally use business money for her personal spending (paying her house payment, buying items for remodeling her home, buying her groceries, buying items for her hobbies, paying for her trips - not business related - and so on)? She has been confronted about this, and she states that her lawyer told her she could legally use the money for her personal spending and bills. The other problem with this? She also is behind on all of the bills that ARE related to the business, and bounces checks out of the business account for her personal things. IS it all legal??

Whenever there is a political issue, where one side believes that equality should be sacrificed for liberty, and the other side believes that liberty should be limited to promote equality, how do you decide which side to be on?

Or, when should a society say, "This freedom is too much; we must reign it in to preserve the equality of our citizens?"

This has been bumping around in my head for a bit - I'm quite the odd type, and have had an idea, which I sketched out, for a plan to build a system for that would mount in the roof of my car, that would have several nerf style guns on it - by pressing a button in the passenger compartment, I could use compressed air to launch them. Physics of small foam cylinders aside (of course they would not work while driving), and safety aside (I would not be wanting to use them on people I don't know, nor while I or they would be driving), I'm more interested in the legal aspects - I've had several people tell me it is probably against the law to mount projectile launchers on a moter vehicle and keep it road legal.

My question is, where in the world would I go to find out the legality of such a system? I'm assuming it would be state regulated, but which part of the government would be in charge of such things? Is that sort of thing online and easily searchable? State of Georgia, if it matters.

And he live with his girlfriend in her 1 bedroom apartment that is in her parent's name. I am just asking because I am the mother of this precious 3 year old girl and am aslo happily married now, and need to know if he can legally get upfront overnight visitation even though it has been a long time and she does not know him. And he doesn't have his own place but lives with his young girlfriend in her 1 bedroom apt. that her parents signed for her to get. Please help?

Should I have to sign for a cash out refinance loan so that my ex can pay off first loan & take my name off first mortgage. In my divorce decree it just states that the ex is to refinance within six months or the house comes back to me. I feel like this is somehow allowing them to use my credit even though i have been told i wouldnt be held responsible for the loan. I was also told that if it was just a straight refinance i wouldnt have to sign but since they are getting cash back it will require my signature.

What's the easiest way to legally change one's middle name?
When a woman marries and changes her surname, can she change her middle name too at no extra expense or paperwork?

If the laws are different as per state or county, I'm asking about either Hamilton County, Ohio or Ripley County, Indiana.

Credit goes to the person with a well-thought-out, specific answer.

Thank you very much! :>

Is this something that I write on tablet paper and both parties sign? OR Is this a legal form that I need to obtain from the prothonatary? Basically, this is a "how do I obtain a written stipulation to vacate?" question.

Below is the link to the story, but during a time of crisis, it appears that a doctor and some nurses made some choices that they may have to pay for.....
I am a nurse and I am torn in my reaction. Part of me understands why they may have felt compelled to do this, but another part of me just feels it is wrong.
What are your thoughts? Comments?

I'm looking to get people's opinions on using pro se in divorce proceedings in California, namely Alameda County. I have the basic gist of pro se but want to know of people's experiences. Is it worth it? I've been preped by a lawyer and have been assured that family law judges would favor my case due to the unique circumstances prevailing i.e. I've been the primary care taker of my two children for the last 6 years. But I don't know how the finances will pan out. We are trying to work out a settlement outside of court but keep getting into arguements. We want to use mediation. But would arbitration or pro se be better in lieu of our arguing? Any advice would help and serious ones at that, please.

I do not think it is an issue of pain, sustainablity, or consciousness. All these answers are on a slippery slope and unresolvable. The only answer that seems to be on solid ground is not to destroy human potential. Whether you believe in a creator (moral), or not (legal).

When you have a child, just look in their eyes and tell them they are a random quirk of nature, and in the grand scheme of nature, their life is meaningless.

We escaped england and came to america (killed and raped the natives) in search of religious freedom which we have since accomplished. the constitution was published saying, basically, that we as americans have certain freedoms and that all men are created equal. we've eliminated slavery, given women more rights and made america a safe haven for all immigrants coming from countries all around the world. so what i don't understand is why its G.W.s business to say who can or can't get married. (G.W. also happens to be a RELIGOUS man. i believe that this has the most to do with his decision. i was forced to attend church for quite a while with my father who also happens to believe that gay marriage should not be allowed. i think it scares them.)
