Every abortion kills a living human child, therefore every abortion is wrong. It really is that simple. In the case of rape, you need to remember that the child is completely innocent. Why should she receive the death penalty for a crime her father committed? Would we kill a one-year-old child because her father is a rapist? Why, then, is the one-month-old child in the womb fair game?
Furthermore, studies have found that abortion only increases the grief and trauma of a woman who has been raped, and, in some cases, it allows the abuser to continue his abuse undetected. For more insight into rape and abortion, see:

No, but I do think they need to quit using them as a form of birth control. I do believe there are certain circumstances that one should have the right to abortion if that's what they want.
I'm curious to the responses about people who have been raped can be treated so they don't get pregnant? This is still getting rid of a baby, how can you say there is a certain amount of time before it's a living thing?

Yes i believe it should be illegal. The only arguement I have heard from pro-choicers is rape victims.
I have no problem with the morning after pill - use it. It is easily accessible.
This is a human life, it will be born and grow and turn into an adult that thinks and feels and loves.
I am sure that anyone would want an opportunity to live their life. These babies that are aborted dont get another chance to experience that things we get to, thats it for them, a lousy few weeks or months inside of a person that does not love them or want to get to know who that tiny person is growing inside of them.
Also, just beacuse you are going to have women who get "backally" abortions is no arguement that it should be legal. Anyone who breaks the law deserves the punishment handed down upon them. period. You know the risk of having sex, i feel that if abortion was illegal it would greatly reduce the number of babies murdered.

Well, in the case of rape it's iffy, and many arguments can be made for either side of the debate. But besides that and possible threat to the mother, then abortion should be abolished in our country. Why should a child die for the mistakes of a woman (and yes it is a child, even science supports that truth.) Keep in mind that in America, it is illegal to kill an unborn eagle, yet it IS legal to kill an unborn child. Just think about that.

Okay, lets face facts. MOST abortions are not from rape. They are not from incest. They are because someone had sex without using something to prevent pregnancy.
I don't like abortion because I just don't know when "life" begins. I have a hard time understanding how we can say "this is life" but "this is not".... I just don't know. . .NO ONE DOES. So, shouldn't we error on the side of NOT even possibly killing someone?
I take care of newborns for a living. If you don't dry them, keep them warm and feed them, they will die. They are dependent creatures. I don't see how they are much different a few months earlier.
I think abortion cripples women. It makes us a class of victims, treats us as if we are too stupid to PREVENT pregnancy. It doesn't EMPOWER us, it destabilizes us.
Do I want it to be illegal, completely illegal? I don't know. But I do think it is way to easy now and that people have them as a form of birth control and that is just wrong.

Abortions were illegal and women still got them.
Just because you make something illegal doesn't stop it.
Abortions, currently, should be made as safe as any medical procedure can be.
The best you can do is reduce the amount of abortions and to do that , you reduce the need for them with a comprehensive sex education program.
You will never eliminate as contraception doesn't always work, rapists don't wear condoms and incest is something else entirely.

Abortion should be illegal and the entire country should abolish the death penalty. States which have legalized assisted suicide should repeal those laws. Killing is killing no matter what euphemism is used. Women who are raped can be treated so they don't get pregnant. Other women have contraception available so there is no reason to use abortion as birth control.

even if you were raped think about it this way that baby boy or girl is a part of you that you created and just because it's a sickos child doesn't mean that baby will be the same. if that happens i think the girl should raise that baby just like she would if the baby was made with a guy she loved. raise that baby and love that baby. that baby shouldn't have to die just because some sicko created it. it's YOUR baby too and he or she deserves to have a chance to live.

i think that everyone should be pro choice. whether you believe it is right or wrong the onption should still be available for the simple fact that you dont know what you would do until you are in that situation. no one can judge another until they have walked a mile in their shoes.
and the morning after pill doesnt always work...so people that use that excuse as well as "use a condom" should take that into consideration...
what would peoples defense be if someone had protected sex and the condom broke. proceeded to take the morning after pill and it was unsucsessful...the option should still be out there no matter the situation...because if you take it away because people are misusing it...you are taking it away from the people that made an honest mistake...

No. We kill things every day. Should we? Definitely not, but making abortion illegal is not a solution.
Provide education, alternatives, contraception, but also allow those who would so choose the option of obtaining a safe abortion.
They will bear the guilt and consequences and if it is a sin, God will sort it out in the end.
