I was arrested recently for driving on a suspended license which I didnt know I had, when I was being booked a group of officers started ragging on me and the passenger, calling me "the fat one" and the other girl the "nasty one", she had been swimming so her thongs were in her pocket, the officer told the others about her big pair of nasty thongs, they all laughed, then the officer called me a liar and said I was dumb. I was scared so I didn't say anything then. I went to court 3 days later and I was convicted of the crime but feel more voilated by the police then by the fine. I don't have any witnesses, Could I sue for harrassment, or is it too late?

If you have experience of corruption on a small or large scale.. and OBVIOUSLY.. not proven because some people are good at covering tracks. Do you think we are getting worse or is life here in the UK getting better? What country can you think of is corruption free.......... mad init' cos I CANNOT think of one. I have first hand experience of lies. Anyone else there.. don't mention what it is.. but i'd like to know numbers really.. any friends or family acquaintances.. etc.

Smith contracted for a house that contained pipe A. The builder preferred pipe B because he owned stock in pipe B company. The two types of pipes are essentially identical. Smith sued the builder and asked for $10,000, the cost to tear out pipe B and replace it with pipe A. The difference of the value of the house with the different pipes is only $1. Should Smith get the cost to repair and replace or the difference in the value of the house or something in between?

I know someone is evading tax illegally. He claims some children of a single mother as his children and paid some money to that woman to shut her mouth up. Is there a way to report this?

I've gone to the Arkansas Bar web page and they don't list anything re: the cases, percentage of wins/loss, any disciplinary actions, if they actually try cases are mostly arrange plea deals, etc. Any help is appreciated.

From the smallest tribunal to our highest court it seems to me that our justice system is run by a self-appointed elite who think the rest of us are too stupid to participate in the system other than as witnessess and defendents. I recommend to anyone interested to spend some time observing our courts and their typical modus operandi. I think you will be surprised at how self-serving and out of touch it all is. My concern is whether it is in its current condition by deliberate intention or because of ignorance. Maybe it's a bit of both.

I am from Alaska, we have no sales tax.

I have a website (http://www.boe.ca.gov/pdf/reg1620.pdf) under CA law, but I dont understand.

I know WA, you can show your ID as proof that the product will be exported and be exempt (http://dor.wa.gov/Docs/Forms/ExcsTx/ExmptFrm/BuyersRetailTxExmptCert_E.pdf),

but does this apply in CA too?

The UN has proved useless in many international affairs. It's corrupt, it failed in the oil for food program, it's unable to solved world crisis, etc. Not to mention the U.S. funds about 20% of the UN and if they impose a global tax, especially on Americans, what levrage will we have on them? None! Americans already pay enough taxes: Social Security tax, sales taxes, income tax, etc. If the UN actually proved to be usefull in solving world crisis like the Iranian nuclear problem, cirisis in the Middle East and the North Korean missile crisis, then I would be more supportive of this proposal but because the UN is a corrup organization, I don not support this plan have a global tax.

I got a speeding ticket for going 55 mph in a 40 mph. I was less than 10 meters from where the 55 mph begins, but my bigger issue is that the posted mph is 45 mph. I now have a map from the Department of Transporation showing that it is a 45 mph zone.

I want to know if anyone knows of any Florida case law or Florida statute that states that if the posted speed limit on ticket is wrong, the case can be dismissed.

I really want to go to court with as much on my side as possible.
