How can we even consider issuing drivers license to individuals who are not legal residents? It is hard a citizen to get an ID card in the US, but we are going to make it easy for illegal individuals to receive a previlidge we can't offer freely to the American citizens? They state it is for identifications, but what documents will they have/need to present to say who they are? When there is an accident how will that be resolved, they are not legal residents, so they won't/shouldn't be working. America at this point can not afford to take on anything or anyone extra, they can't take care of their own. America has so many legal citizens that can't purchase homes, can't feed their families, are living from check to check and still borrowing some to sustain themselves, and we are entertaining the notion to allow others to come in illegally and take the little from its citizens? Freedom for all, but at what cost?

So I talked to my friend today, and this is what he claims, although I dont believe it. He is US Citizen, like myself, went to india and got married about 5 years ago. Post September 11th, so rules should been same as today (present)

The girl is from Amritsaar, they got engaged and marriage within 2 weeks time. They went to the US Embassy in new delhi, took all the pictures as proof, and applied for her visa to come to USA. He said he got the interview that day only, and within one week, she had got the visa

I asked him why she took 5 months to come, is because she was finishing her school. I asked him to double check if this is correct, but he said by filling in india, then you go directly to the source meaning if I file in usa for K1 or K3 visa, then it goes to some office in USA for processing which takes time, then goes to India for the next step

Has anyone else got married in india, and then filled for there wife / husband to come to USA and got the visa rather quickly?

Recently, I answered a question asking people what they thought should happen to a teacher who had sex with and kidnapped a 13-year-old illegal alien. The question has been deleted, but I was appalled to see that most people who answered seemed to think what the teacher did was justified because her victim was an illegal alien! Do you really think that crimes are justified when committed against illegal aliens? If so, are they justified when the victims are guilty of other crimes?

According to Morris in his book Outrage, over 9 million came here on visas in 2005 and one third or 3 million hid out in the country after the visas expired. So over a ten year period means 30,000,000 and they are from all over the world. This makes the 15 million illegals from south of the border, which could be a bogus number look small. If true then we can stop that many by stopping visas now. At least not let them fly in or what ever!

In Sydney for instance we have some very upmarket Harbourside suburbs, some of which contain Public Housing or Housing Commission blocks of apartment, you can always tell them apart ! Why is this, why does the scourge of society plague us by "stealing" Million dollar views ?

How fair is it that most people are forced to pay exhorbitant rents or are mortgaged to the hilt and these bludgers enjoy the same upmarket water side address ? Shouldn't they be relocated to the country, or outer suburbs ?

I understand about some people where they have to pay taxes and other crap like that. But what about those other people that are working their asses off just to get a better career and support their family. I'm a illegal alien and I have better grades and knowings than most people here. Heck, I know how to program computer games and I'm trying hard to learn some high school courses online like, Genetics and Trigonometry, and Biology just so I can become smart and get a scholarship AND I'M ONLY 13. So why?

My family and I are considering a move to canada. we have a lot of questions about moving and living there, and the information you get online is very confusing and hard to sift through. we are looking for someone who can explain it simply and help us compare the aspects of life here in the USA versus life in Canada, right down to the basic essentials, and all the way up to 'how to begin'. Please email or use messenger if you are willing to help us or direct us somewhere where we can obtain the correct information in a simplified way. Thanks in advance for your help!

I read an article yesterday about a black American family who were on vacation in Mexico. The youngest child was a 15-year old girl & she went to a Mexican restaurant - there she complained to the waiter because the food was bad - the waiter got angry and shouted "shut up you n*****!"

Is that legal? Even if it isn't then how can some people have the audacity to blurt out insulting racist words at people (particularly at young women)? I mean Mexicans, Blacks, Asians we are all dark skinned people so why should we hate each other like this?

My question is when an illegal immigrant is caught by the proper authorities and brought to holding units prior to being sent back to their country of origin why are they not given the option to fill out the proper paper work to get them a work visa and the start the paper work to become a naturalized citizen?

It has been reported that illegal immigration has caused many problems in the United States, decrease in wages, lowered standard of living, and higher crime rates.

This seems to be common sense. This would allow the “future” citizen to pay taxes and have the same rights as all Americans. Fines for entering the country illegally could be attached to the “future” citizens taxes.

RALEIGH - A drunken driver accused of causing a fatal wreck on Interstate 40 in June pleaded guilty Thursday to several charges.
Ricardo Contreras-de la Torre, 24, an illegal immigrant, was charged in June with two counts of felony assault involving serious bodily injury and one count of felony death by motor vehicle in the June 4 crash. He was sentenced to 25 to 39 months in prison, Wake County Assistant District Attorney Adam Boyers said Thursday afternoon.

Contreras-de la Torre was heading east on Interstate 40 around 7:15 a.m. on June 4 when the Chevrolet Tahoe he was driving crossed the median and collided with two other vehicles. George Smith, 54, of Cary, a computer programmer at Duke University who was on his way to work that morning, died in the crash.

Contreras-de la Torre had admitted to drinking the night before the accident.

Contreras-de la Torre initially gave state Highway Patrol officials the name Michael De Latorre. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said they discovered his real identity through a fingerprint search.

A federal grand jury also indicted Contreras-de la Torre earlier this year for being in the country illegally, the U.S. Department of Justice announced about two weeks after the crash. He had been twice caught trying to cross into the country from Mexico in 2004

I am not talking about to be asked to speak English since the fist day they enter the country. I mean, that during the process of obtaining the green card (about a year) they should learn at least the basics of English and then take a test by the day they obtain their status as legal residents.

So why is it when I post a question that all I get back is rhetoric and very few solid answers and a lot of assumptions about what I believe?(which by the way I actually did answer when somebody posed the question this afternoon)
Is there a theme here that certain people just want to scream and yell their opinion? If that's so why not write a blog nobody will pay attention to?
Are you afraid to answer based on the identity you've chosen for yourself?
