I've reviewed the map in detail.
The map focuses on perceptions not data.
In reality, I feel that the map generally represents reasonable understanding of corruption but probably out of date by about 10 years.
But in direct answer to your question where political corruption exist, populous values and corruption follow.
I would make Mexico 2 shades more red.

I think it does, it shows areas where corruption is part of the culture, it could just as well be a map of all corruption and dishonesty.

Just what the whole world needs; a lesson on corruption by people from a country that has a president that
a) was given the job by his brother in Florida and his dad's friends in the supreme court
b) invaded a sovereign country so that it can then dish out its resources and the contracting jobs to the companies operated by his close friends
c) is using the military and the funds of the richest country in the world to secure his family's stake in the oil industry

Wow I'm surprised the UK scores green! I would have expected to be yellow at least with all the backscratchers and bungtakers in our useless "Government".
Why is Ireland yellow anyway?
I notice America is yellow. Haha what a surprise . . .

now i did notice that you have no corrupt immigrants that leave britain so does that mean all them drug bosses living in spain on the run are decent people? if i recall right the met reckons that half the major drug bosses on the run are now in spain. so where are they on your map. no nation is without its corrupt people and to make out otherwise is stupid at least and at its worst racist sir.

I find it funny. All the countries I like to visit is green THe only green country I don't want to visit is Greenland, and I'm luke warm to Japan. For you race baiter's, Hong Kong, Singapore and Chile are all green as well.
I have said one of the problem with immiration is that we bring in people from countries that does not have a firm concept of how a good governmetn works. Illegal immigration is worse, because they obviously understand or care for the importants of the law.

Yes, obviously the proportion of politically corrupt Immigrants to any given country will echo the the political corruptness of their home country. that's the only logical interpretation. any other interpretation is politically or socially biased (likely to the left)
