Is it ok for Mexicans to call a Black woman as n*****?

I read an article yesterday about a black American family who were on vacation in Mexico. The youngest child was a 15-year old girl & she went to a Mexican restaurant - there she complained to the waiter because the food was bad - the waiter got angry and shouted "shut up you n*****!"

Is that legal? Even if it isn't then how can some people have the audacity to blurt out insulting racist words at people (particularly at young women)? I mean Mexicans, Blacks, Asians we are all dark skinned people so why should we hate each other like this?

It's not illegal to use any particular word in America either as far as I know. However, certain derogatory words shouldn't be used, but still are for whatever reason. It doesn't make them any less degrading or disgusting though.

Why should anyone cares? I find it VERY ironic that NON-blacks always ask questions like this one about blacks. Ask questions using your demonic race. Do not use blacks as an escape goat for inane questions. Stir up your own hatred for yourself. Don't hide behind blacks!

Since when has a Mexican been the standard for anything positive or progressive in the USA? All this talk about they not liking dark skin. Who cares? To all the stupid non-blacks who ALWAYS talk about why black folk call each other the "N" word. Why do you call someone who looks like you racist words only used for your group. It is not just blacks, so get a life! Whites have many racist words that they used on each other; however, you never see blacks folk asking each other "why do they call each other those words?"

Who cares about a little ugly Mexican girl who uses the "N" word. This same little girl is using other nasty words.

The day is coming when blacks will finally give hispanic their due. One of these days, blacks will be on the front line making sure millions of illegals leave their areas. Blacks live mostly in the deep South; illegals are moving in the deep South. Blacks are not forgetting the attitudes of hispanics. Pay day someday! There is more to the USA than California, Texas, and Florida.

That's a trolly question masked with a make shift photo of someone attractive who resembles a Mexican but is not you. What you describe is not credible. The incident reportedly happened in Mexico and the waiter reportedly said it in English. All you have done is provide another situation for some people to criticize Mexicans and anyone of Hispanic heritage. You should be reported as a community guide violator.

Possible misunderstanding:


"*****" means black in "Spanish". ***** is the only word that we have for black in Spanish. ***** sounds like the "n" word when you say it in Spanish....

The word ***** does not have the same racial meaning in Mexico, as black people in Mexico were not slaves. The word ***** is used to describe people of dark skinned and it is not meant to be offensive in Mexico.

i know alot of Mexicans & they can be bitterly racist.they have terrible racial slurs like Moyos,Pinche Gabachos,Mayates, Pinhce Chinos,ect,ect

I find the latin culture to be very prejudice. They ridicule other races for being different from them but they get upset if others make fun of them. I have personally witnessed a latina who spoke only spanish ridicule an Asian woman for speaking chinese, well look who's talking.

I don't know. Is that illegal in Mexico? Then yes, it would be illegal. I doubt it though, since it wouldn't even be illegal here in the US. Contrary to popular belief, simply calling someone a "ni**er" is not illegal.
