first off before you critiize our government learn our grammar. second off if you dont like it get on a boat and go back to where you came from. doesnt matter where your from anyhow, if it wasnt for us you wouldnt be a country. and as the badasses of the world we can do what we want, just like all the immigrants that came over here in the 1900's do it legally.

The US American government is a Democracy. That means that if most of the people want things to be a certain way, the folks we elect to represent our views are suppose to work these choices into effect in our lives, government and laws.
It's difficult for some reason called "money". Most of the US population does not want illegal people in our country ...roughly 75%. Problem is, our country is Capitalistic and our country is being pushed, because of money to do things that the mass of citizens don't want but that large corporations want ...and pay (politicians?) to get.
The corporations want more and more cheap labor (makes more $$$$ for them) ...that would be the work of the illegals. They come here and work for cheaper than an American citizen. This hurts American citizens. American citizens are not happy about this for any number of reasons.
The government is stymied as they want the corporations money but they need to give the citizens of the country their just representation. Many poloticians would rather take the money ...and phooey to the citizens. This is it in simple way.
This is the reason it is difficult.

$10,000 per child per year to educate a child. Our schools are failing. Social security not claimed is no where near the costs. And if legalized they could all bring family and make it 5 times worse.
We subsidize poor people, so we limit how many poor can come. They take their better life from our people, while we pay for the schools and services they use.

Because the majority of citizens dont want amnesty. Coming in illegally is a crime. People who commit a crime should get punished not rewarded. Why should they be get citizenship ahead of the ones who have waited years to do it legally?

Because 'they' are finally realizing that this is not what the American citizens want and are now listening to OUR demands and not those of the illegal criminal aliens.
We are getting our power back.

If it were financially viable to give them legeal status then the US government would do so. As it is they work for peanuts and cost the system nothing. Cheap labour is the name of the game!

Because the majority of voters do not want it. Elected representatives are there to represent the voters and like to get re-elected.

Yeah - while we're at it, why not legalize all crime, not just illegal immigration?
