How DARE we expect people to follow the rules?!?
We should just let people do whatever they want.
I am pro immigrant and pro immigration. We need to make it easier for people to come here legally and work. We ALSO need to make sure people are following the law.

I'm not sure how much they have helped. Studies on this issue have suggested that illegal entry generally, have cost the USA over a billion and a half dollars a year.
It's fairly common knowledge/agreement that 8 out of 10 Illegal visitors to the USA ... are from Mexico.
So reason and logic would suggest that 80% of that billion plus figure, is lost compliments of those Mexicanos.
Then there is the "cost" in human life. Stats that are well accepted indicate roughly 27 US citizens are killed daily by illegal visitors. Wonder how those who lost Fathers, Mothers etc feel about those loses to illegal visitors, many from Mexico.
Then there is the language issue. I mean, I could go on but what's the point beyond what has been said?
Hope this helps you understand why US citizens complain the way they do.

I have never complained about Mexican immigrants. I have complained about illegal aliens from all nations, and have often said that I fully welcome legal immigrants from all nations. If a Mexican legally immigrates here, I'm totally cool with it. If a Lithuanian over stays a visa, I get po'd.
In my mind, its a person's actions (good or bad), not the ethnicity or color, that matters. Honestly.

The problem with illegal immigrants is not with them (yeah you heard me right) but the country receiving them. Here is my point: A first-world country, with a better paying job, with a more decent housing offer would be attractive to those poor people from the less-developed countries. Thus, Migration (whether legal or illegal) would always be present. It is human nature to seek greener pastures.
I believe that US should pinpoint not the Mexicans or other nationalities migrating illegally (though I do not condone illegal migration), but their own government. The US has a vast resource of "Intelligence" "Border Security" to secure the whole United States, why not exhaust all these powers?
If they can hurdle Iraq, why not their own borders?
Borders must be strengthen. Laws must be reviewed. Migration systems must be open, yet secured. It is all about the US system, not with the nature of Mexicans who just wanted to seek a better lives for themselves.
US has all the power and money, why not patrol your borders so tight no cunning illegal migrant can enter. I know the territory is vast. But if they can spend millions of dollars in war, why not give all for the sake of your own house, your own borders?
(id still say no to illegal migration).

only the illegal ones. It costs $10,000 per child per year to educate a child in our schools. For people who can't pay that amount in local taxes on top of their federal taxes, we have to pay it, and the money is taken from our children's education funds. Our children's schools are failing and their hospitals are closing. Also, the wages that used to pay enough taxes to help pay for those services now no longer do because excess workers have driven down wages and benefits for Americans.
Illegal immigration is a huge problem.

Because I am legal, and I work for a living and have my own family to support, but my tax money goes to support their illegal family. By the way, you ever heard of September 11, 2001? That was a crime committed against Americans by illegal aliens.

Whether they help or not is irrelevent. The point is that they are here illegally. I don't hear anyone complaining about individuals that play by the rules to come here, Mexican or not.

Most Americans don't complain about Mexican immigrants being here. What we do strongly object to, and rightly so, are illegal alien criminals who come here illegally, with their hands out, who disrespect our country, our flag and our Citizens. Illegals who take and take and take and don't give in return.
