She will only use her Valid Mexican Passport as indentification during boarding (as they dont have CA I.D.) is this ok? i told her i think its safe to travel by plane as long as its inside the USA or domestic flights only and NOT international flights, am i right? HELP PLS, DO YOU HAVE ANY FRIENDS WHO TRAVEL WITHIN THE USA ONLY EVEN W/O LEGAL PAPERS??? Based on Experience is the best advise you can give me. Thank you

Mexican drug trafficking organizations are now the main supplier of illegal drugs in the United States. These DTOs are the leaders in nearly every form of illegal drug distribution. The biggest Mexican drug cartels continue to be run by 4 main families & are known as the Tijuana, Gulf and Juarez cartels & the Federation. When the North American Free Trade Agreement went into effect with Mexico in 1994, it appears to have changed the face of the drug trade in both the United States & Mexico. As commercial truck, train, & ship traffic increased between the countries, the flow of drugs & money also increased along the 2,000-mile border. Mexican DTOs now bring in about 90% of the cocaine used in the United States, even though nearly all the coca continues to be grown in Columbia. In the year 2000, cocaine importation from Mexico was estimated at 500,000 pounds & by last year, it had grown to nearly one million pounds. Heroin made from poppies grown in Mexico is now the most widely distributed heroin in the UnitedStates with 20,000 pounds imported in 2000 rising to 60,000 pounds more recently. While only 5% is confiscated in its finished form. In 2005, about 27,000 acres of poppies were eradicated leaving an estimated 8,000 acres in cultivation. As precursor chemicals for methamphetamine became harder to get within the U.S., labs in Mexico began to supply a bigger & bigger percentage of the U.S. market. Mexican meth production has not been reliably estimated but 1,100 pounds were seized in 2000 & about 6,000 pounds were intercepted in both 2005 & 2006.

I have been living lawfully in the U.S. for more than 23 years through a petition by my wife (now my ex). I received my green card, but after 10 years I tried applying for Citizenship and had some problems with my application, as my wife's old boyfriend (who at that time was jealous of me) wrote a letter to immigration claiming that our marriage was not real and was trying to get me deported, which is not true. So to make a long story short, I was denied U.S. Citizenship but allowed to keep my resident status (I know I am legal here since I've been in and out of the country several times). Now my question is: Since I have this problem and I am now married to my current wife who is a U.S. Citizen and my children who are natural-born U.S. Citizens, can I have them re-petition me for a different card? Basically giving up the 'tainted' one I currently have for another one? I want to become a U.S. Citizen in the future.

secure our borders and they stand up for the people don't they? My polls show 98% to secure the borders and included are Mexican Americans, and folks that it took them over five years to become an America, White, African American, Korean Americans, American Indians, Russian Americans, Nigerian Americans (may not count as he's a doctor), Japanese Americans, rednecks, Yahoo Answer folks and the list goes on.

Is that only in the UK, do you think?

"An influx of foreign workers has damaged job security by increasing the number of temporary and short-term posts, said Professor David Blanchflower, a member of the interest-rate setting Monetary Policy Committee.

advertisementHe said the trend was leading to stagnation in long-term growth, with employers using migrants to avoid permanent contract costs such as pension contributions.

Shops, pubs, restaurants and other parts of the service sector are now almost entirely staffed by migrant workers, Prof Blanchflower claimed.

In a memo, he said: "There have been strong increases in temporary workers who can't find permanent jobs and part-timers who can't find full-time jobs. The number of self-employed has also grown at a rate that is clearly unsustainable."

Employment figures reported show that the number of temporary workers in the UK has risen by 12 per cent in the past year, from 355,000 to 400,000.

How can we make sure our legal American citizens get their treatment?

2007-11-19 07:27:46 · 10 answers · asked by Anonymous

I just got a mind-bendingly smart answer to my last question!!!!

We keep getting our content deleted but we're NOT ALLOWED TO FACE OUR ACCUSERS!!! Why NOT?!

Most of us (of all positions on illegal immigration) believe that the dweebs doing the reporting are setting up fake accounts, reporting what they can, then canceling those accounts and setting up new ones.

If they knew they'd have to reach level 2, FIRST, they would NOT BOTHER!!!! Too much trouble, take your mischief elsewhere.

And those who report abuse more than 1 out of, say, every 4 answers should be FLAGGED! Right next to their avatars.

Your thoughts?

...before content can be deleted?

The Immigration Section is NOTORIOUS for this! Both sides complain that their perfectly innocuous, rule-abiding content got vaporized. It is SOOO annoying and unfair!!!

I'd pay about what Yahoo charges for its other services: say $50 or so a year.

Your thoughts?

After weeks of protests outside a Phoenix furniture store, the owner has scored a small victory.

Roger Sensing got a temporary permit preventing anybody from protesting on the sidewalk in front of Pruitt's Furniture at Thomas Road and 34th Street.Immigrant rights groups have been protesting in front of the store for several weeks now.
At least 24 people have been arrested thanks to this citizen asking the police to do their job.http://www.kpho.com/news/14628868/detail.html

My understanding of America is that it is a tossed salad of cultures, and that to be an American is to be proud of that. I see a lot of people on here saying they're frustrated because Latin immigrants won't act "American."
So my question is: What does it mean to be an American to you?
All viewpoints welcome.

My family immigrated from Italy. They did not know the language, but they took the time to learn it well. They speak Italian at home, but outside they always speak English.

Furthermore, they work hard and they love the USA. They don't go to sporting events and waive the Italian flag, or put an Italian symbol on their car.

That's the difference when the Italians and Jews immigrated to America. They left their countries to become Americans. I don't see that from Illegals from Mexico. They want to bring their culture here... with no desire to assimilate.

I think that since Americans provide jobs for illegals mexicans we should replace Cinco de Mayo with National American apprecitation day by Chicanos. I mean its the least they can do for all the freebies we give them.
