So in the morning when you see a man/lady that’s not the same as you different colour, turban etc why not just say hello or good morning.

I work evenings - in a kebab shop - I am married to a Turkish man - i don't think i have any prejudices

People in general in North America don't say high to any stranger because I think, of fear & insecurities. I wish people were more matured & more intelligent. Goodmorning!, Hi! & a big smile is a common thing in the morning back home. People acknowledge each others presence. Here people try to avoid eye contact by holding coffee in one hand & a book in the other pretending to read. How suffocating is that! I totally agree with you.

I'm not going to go out of my way to find someone of a different race to say good morning to,that's just silly. I generally smile at everyone I encounter, I don't stop to look at the outside package.

I don't generally say hello to people. Especially roustabouts in the street.

You can always tell illegals they just ignore any type of conversation.Sorry the do gooder days are over but you can if you so wish invite them to your home over Christmas.
