Were there any deportations among those 24 arrested? That would make a story with a happy ending!

It's about time. They were tortiously interfering with business and committing intimidation of customers, from what I could tell through the press.
That is NOT constitutionally protected speech.
For example, the script writers are striking and picketing in LA. They have a protected right to do that. However, in prior strikes, if they blocked traffic into the studios or 'bumped into' cars entering etc., the studios could get orders of protection against that behaviour. These guys don't even have specially protected labor rights in their favor.

Good Job, SENSING!!!
He'll still have to put up with them, though. Because if (and ONLY if) the protesters are in the U.S. legally, then they can STILL assemble elsewhere peaceably. I assume the permit is based on the fact that their actions are adversely affecting his business.
We can assemble, but blocking or in any way hindering the lawful conduct of a business is illegal. Just like the the presence, in the U.S. of those they seem heII-bent on defending!

well, it sounds like the sidewalk wasn't on private property, and that's why he had to get a permit. But I don't think that people should have to jump through hoops to do this. Now I don't listen to the opinions of people who don't live around one of the areas being affected so heavily with this problem, they just don't know how it is. I lived in Arizona for 22 years and I hated being called at with foul, disgusting comments from groups of men on the sidewalk waiting for a day job. Or not feeling safe because they follow you or force you off the sidewalk just because they are in large, ominous groups. i am not saying they cant look for work, but I totally agree with the owner of the store wanting someone to flush the people away from his store front. Which is what caused the protesting. These people were collecting in front of his store and driving away customers and business because of how unsafe it makes people feel to have groups of 20-40 men loitering and just hanging out. Believe me, no one wants to have to walk through this and feel degraded and leered at because they choose to stand where ever they feel, regardless of how ever it makes everyone else feel. As far as Im concerned, if you dont live around this, you dont have a clue and your opinion isnt based on the reality of it.

Thank God,
Notice however how short the story is. It really shows how biased the media is in favor of illegals violating our laws and harassing legitimate citizens and businesses. Illegals are the highest percentage rapists in US prisons as well as the highest single groups for: violent assault, domestic abuse, murder, DWI, identity theft and child rape.
According to FBI statistics illegal aliens rape an average of 8 American children per day.
I'd like to ask the pro-illegals on this forum: "What number of American children being sexually assaulted daily do you accept in order to allow illegal aliens to come and stay in this country?"
Regardless of whether you claim most criminal aliens are "just trying to find a better life", not one American child would be a victim of illegal sexual assault if illegals were deported or jailed.
George Bush and the Democraps have sold their souls to their illegal labor pimp masters in Mexico city.
So now we have to endure what no other country on earth tolerates, especially not Mexico:
We are forced to allow illegal criminal aliens to hold political rallies demanding PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT while violating our laws.
Don't worry folks I will contiune calling emailing and blogging against ANY government officials or elected politicians who in any way support this plague of parasites continuing to be here tormenting and assaulting Americans. please join me in doing the same, they are starting to feel the pressure. The Prancing Prince Eliot Spitzer and his spin master Hillary were forced to "come out of the shadows" and drop their plans to allow illegals to create massive voter fraud and buy guns to shoot more Americans and runtheir drugs.
Both parties are now dependent on the drug money coming from Mexico City that's why they want uninspected Mexican trucks coming in. It's also why they are prosecuting US Border Agents at the Request of the Mexican Government.
Don't let the corruptors win!

Are they immigrants rights groups or ILLEGAL ALIENS rights groups?? There's a distinct difference.
Immigrants don't need to protest for rights...they are here legally and therefore HAVE rights
Illegal aliens have no rights, and DESERVE no rights. They have the "right" to be deported humanely...that's about it!!

I think it is great. It is obvious that the locals are the only ones that are willing to tackle the problem. Well, if that is what it takes, then so be it.
