i have a girlfriend who lives in the united states and is from the phillipines. she is looking to renew her passport and i was just wanting to know what are the steps to doing so. her family told her she has to drive almost 2 hours to san francisco but i m thinking this could be done in some place here in our town. or a lot closer. Any help ? ( FYI ) she is a non citizen.

She needs to contact the Philippine Embassy. If the closest one is in SF, she will have to go there.

She can renew it by mail if she likes. Forms are there, and everything.
