...before content can be deleted?

The Immigration Section is NOTORIOUS for this! Both sides complain that their perfectly innocuous, rule-abiding content got vaporized. It is SOOO annoying and unfair!!!

I'd pay about what Yahoo charges for its other services: say $50 or so a year.

Your thoughts?

I believe that any one or two members who don't frequent Immigration would have no automatic bias. In the real world, we can face our accuser. We should have that option here, too.

Even if, after review, the hearer decides against us, at the very LEAST, we would know WHICH guideline it allegedly violated and HOW so.

No one lower than level 2 should be able to report abuse! Also, people who constantly should be flagged.

A lot of these grimy-minded little, malevolent U-boats! I swear they open a new account just to report abuse. They could never get that account to level 2 and, if they did, they'd risk being flagged as a tattler.

Hmm.....

I think if its something like language, that can be computer scanned, fine, remove it. But anything else should require 5 reports in order to be removed. If people have mulitple accounts and use them, yahoo will see the patterns of the same 4 or 5 screen names always together, and it will expose their point gaming or violation gaming.

i wouldnt pay a cent to get my freedom of speech taken away (like Y!A does), why would i PAY someone to let me practice that right which we are already entitled to as citizens (what i mean is, even if Y!A improved, i would still not pay for my freedom of speech!). you shouldnt either.

even though some of the questions and answers here get deleted, i know that it is read by at least some of the targeted readers (in my case, the pro's) before it gets deleted, so at least i already got some of the targets to read it!

the bottom line is: they decide to report because they read the answer/question and they dont like hearing the truth/and/or they cant stand disagreement. but at LEAST the message went across! im pretty sure they do read it before they report it.
