1. They will figure out ways to go around it. Even by walking along the west coastline, building hang gliders, helium balloons or other small home-made flying machines to fly ever the wall.

2. As long as the United States is prosperous and democratic they will come. Even if you pass the most severe anti-immigration laws. Even if you take away birthright citizenship away from their children...they will come.

3. The human need and desire to better themselves and their families is just way too strong and as long as their corrupt governments don't do anything for them... they will come.

by chance,i have read in the newspaper that once you have married to an american citizen in US,you will be given a condtitional greencard for two yearsas long as you will stay togethr for two years to prove that your marrieage is not fraud .. question is ...what if the other person is an illegal alien and after two weeks of marriage he left anf stay in other states,
and this person started flying back home to his country, taking advantage of his being agreencardholder . This coming Nov , is the due date to fimalize his legality in US ... now , the question is ... how can we stop him from being legal and deport him instead . We knew this persn and we know hes just using this US citizen for him to be legal in US? get what i mean ?...how and where we can report him ?

I was born in the Philippines 15 years ago and have lived here all my life. My mom is an American citizen who acquired her citizenship by birth but had lived in the US for three years only before her family moved back to the Philippines. My father is Filipino. My question is that am I considered an American citizen having been born to one American parent? If not, can I apply for citizenship and claim my rights under my mother who is a US citizen? Thanks!

All nationalities of Eurpoean nature have entered this country, some legally but by an large most illegally. In fact, most immigrants lied about who they actually were (names changed) and where they really came from (nation or town of origin) to enter this country at the beginning of the century. Most of these ethnic groups actually came here with a discriminate attitude towards people of color, engaged in criminal activity, created a society of division/divide amongst other ethnic groups, stole, usurped and robbed the native people of the land, their rights and freedoms. SO why are we sooooooo terrified of Mexicans?????

I have two close friends, for the sake of argument, I will call them A and B. A is a US Citizen and B is here illegally. B has been here since he was a child, he tried to get his papers but was unable and was ordered to leave the country. Needless to say, he is still here.

Recently I have discovered that A helped B get a US passport under his name. All the information on the passport is A's but has B's picture on it. My question is twofold:

1. Personally I have no problem with B being in the US, even illegally. Now they have commited a crime and I am aware of it, what should I do?

2. How were they able to do it? A is caucasion and B is Hispanic; they look nothing alike. Does the passport agency not check anything before they issue them? I would have thought that somehow they verify the picture, though I do not know how?

A point often lost in the debate over border security and illegal immigration is that many of the laws necessary to fix the problem are already on the books, but federal authorities have decided for political reasons not to enforce them.

Today, there are approximately 15,000 employees in the entire Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, the primary agency responsible for finding and detaining millions of persons here illegally. There are, by comparison, approximately 700,000 state and local law enforcement officials, but in urban centers like New York and San Francisco they are barred from cooperating with federal law enforcement authorities.

This problem must be fixed before putting out the welcome mat for tens of millions of people who first broke the law to enter the country and continue to break our laws by staying here illegally.

The Haitians are trying to escape persecution and most of them risk their lives trying to make it across dangerous, shark infested waters to get to the United States. Is this discrimination? How fair is that?

Regardles what R. Giuliani said, ENTERING THE USA THROUGH ILLEGAL CHANNELS (anything that is untruthful, fake documents, even entering through undesignated entry point) is a FEDERAL FELONY!
Being here is a civil offense, but entering is a federal felony (that is stupidity in itself!)
OK, what if other crimes were handled like they are trying to do on this?
!. Auto theft, If you are able to avoid capture for a predetermind time, you get the title to the car
2. Murder, if you are not cought during a certain amount of time, you have to only pay a fine
3. Arson for hire? Well you were only doing a job that no one else would do and you needed to have a better life, so no harm-no foul. It is really the American, who hired you, who is at fault!

I am sure that there are other equally humorous and insanely stupid examples, but I hope you get the point.
Why enforce any laws at all if we are willing to let 10-20 million lawbreakers go?

This news story:

Dozens dead in Mexico truck crash and blast
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070910/ts_nm/mexico_blast_dc_3;_ylt=AgO0U5VeKOU6VNVgG3uR7mIE1vAI

underscores the danger of letting Mexican trucks onto US roadways... this was a truck loaded down with explosives, driven by a diver who probably didn't have HAZMAT certification... a simple traffic accident turned into a horrible tragedy, which could have been avoided if a few simple safety principles had been adhered to.

Do we really want this on US roads?

In response to my activity on this site, I received an email from another user with links to 20 webpages that "prove" that the average American, is either against deporting the illegals or think that it is impossible.
How do you view these polls? have any of you been involved in one or more? Have any of you been teh asker who calles the participants?
I have and I have found out, firsthand that polls are as fake as anything you will see in "Professional Wrestling".
The desired outcomes are predetermined and preliminary qualifying questions are the norm. if you do not fit into the scheme, you don't qualify, and the REAL results of these polls are neither scientific, nor realistic.
Remember that the large media outlets have an agenda and a reason for ruining the workforce with illegals who will take our jobs!
What did I do about this job, taking polls? I QUIT AND TURNED IN 100% ACCURATE INFORMATION TO MY BOSS. IT GOT TOSSED, GARANTEED

I see people often get angry at people who say undocumented and say that they are PC for saying it. I don't think that is reasonable because saying undocumented is accurate so I don't care.

Does it bother you?

p.s. I say illegals but that is just me and most people know my honest views about illegal immigration. You can see my questions and answers or just ask me if you want to know.

My point is this: Legal Immigrants have made this country great. They have patiently waited for their place in line, and have followed the rules.

Does it make you mad that others who are here ILLEGALLY get rewarded for not playing by the rules? There are many opinions out there about AMNESTY, but I want to hear from legal immigrants who came here by following the law of the land. The process was long and you did it right.

Is anti-crime stance, racism?
Since when has criminal become a race?
What about Affirmative action? Is it racist to GIVE a job based on race? Do minority children starve faster? does the minority homeowner's bills come more often?
What about regional idiomatic acceptance? ("black-english", bilingual teaching) Is it that these other groups cannot learn, adapt and apply what is taught?

It seems to me that the addage of "When in Rome, do as the Romans do" is the best way to see things here.
Employment? First best qualified come, first best qualified served.
Schooling? America is, worldwide, listed and accepted as an English-speaking country.
You will notice, by their absence, that the Asain population NEVER wants bilingual teacers, they see it as a breech of HONOR to not learn english!
As for crime, ALL PEOPLE SHOULD BE AGAINST IT-IN ALL FORMS EVEN ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.
All criminals have sob stories as to WHY it's not their fault!
